  1. Impressive detail Rodger. You haven't lost your touch!
  2. Thats not a simple question. That's a request for others to work with/for you. There are a lot of activities in the world for Thom to do. Can you be a little more specific in what you are looking for your character/Thom to do? Perhaps better yet, if you post a model others may be intrigued enough to design poses and actions just for you.
  3. Not true. There are some (basic) plugins that we can run from the file menu. As far as I know the only Wizard we can access from the File menu is 'Treez'. But... you can set a Shortcut key to Simcloth and Newton Simulation! There are a few here in the forum that might want to set a shortcut key combo for "ResetSettings".
  4. There doesn't appear to be any way to create shortcut keys for any plugin that can't be run from the File Menu. (This leaves out wizards such as Font and AI but apparently includes the Treez Wizard. (interesting) Only the Plugins that you can find in the File menu appear to have the shortcut option. Thats why we see the option to assign a shortcut is for File:Plugins... But to provide an example of an appropriate view for wizards: You will only see the Fonts wizard as an option while in a Modeling window. In this case appropriate view/context sensitive means the same thing. If you are not looking for the plugin while in the correct context A:M will not show it to you.
  5. Plugins are context sensitive so... Their options will only appear when you are in the appropriate view. For instance, we won't see a modeling wizard/plugin in an Action window. Now having said that... I don't remember seeing the Shortcut options for Plugins before. Assuming they work... TOO COOL!* (And a set of some of the most common file menu plugins do!)
  6. Bravo!
  7. Superbly fun! Love it.
  8. Your renders are so beautiful they tend to make your modeling look effortless and easy. Then when I sit down to model something myself I always say... "How DOES he do that!" Keep it up Stian!
  9. David is now working on 'Scarecrow of Oz'. Several years ago he won the Sci Fi contest with this image:
  10. John's superheroes I'm still missing... they were fantastic... but so are his Kapsules:
  11. Gerry's 'Bugbots' has come a long way since this image was first posted:
  12. I believe this Tr0n scene was created by Ed (Lynch)?
  13. If Sci Fi is your thing... A:M has the the modeling, texturing and animation features you need. Al not only modeled this scene but donated the highly detailed model/project to the A:M Cmmunity: (Thanks Al!)
  14. ...and Rich's partner in film (John) is pretty good with A:M's spline technology too!
  15. ...and speaking of missing in action, we haven't heard from Rich in quite awhile: Where art thou Entity?
  16. Vern is quintessentially A:M (when he's not being distracted by 2D!!!):
  17. ...and since we are on a D&D fantasy theme, here is another from Will: (Here Will is spoofing/recreating the cover to the classic TSR Dungeons and Dragons Manual)
  18. Malcolm is 'Malcolm Zinzan'. Everyone knows him as 'Zinzan'. He's an talented artist that has spent much of his life in Deviant Art ''obscurity'. Others know of his talent of course... but we here don't as he doesn't hang with us here daily. This is the image most here in the forum might have seen and associate with him:
  19. Matt makes money with A:M: (If you are in the Detroit area you'll see his animation on TV) Matt has donated the cash pictured to the A:M Community. (See A:M Exchange forum for other model contributions from the A:M Community)
  20. John just likes to tinker: (In this case... experimenting with fluids)
  21. Kat is creating an entire world of fantasy (She is creating her epic adventure 'Just a Wooden Sword' with A:M):
  22. Rodger likes to model his creations to scale:
  23. The talent isn't in the program Gene... but the program sure helps get you where you want to be. Case in point... Here's what happens when you mix a talented artist (Jim) with an amazing program (A:M): How many features can you count there?
  24. Mark is creating his own comic strip:
