OH!! GAWD!!! It's hilarious! I like it. It would definitely be something you would see on a childrens' show.

This is a great character! Nice hair...looks very natural. Are you trying to make this bird look "grown up"? If so, add more hair. Right now it looks like a "kid" bird

Nice "take" too. The exageration works perfectly.

If you are looking for critiques... I'll add:

Say something with the eyes.

Have him look left and right... and/or have his pupils pinpoint just prior to the "take".

Very nice as it stands though! :)

For those interested, I updated the part of The 'annotated' Art of Animation:Master dealing with eyes from page 63 and 64 of TAOA:M. It can be found HERE.

There is a lot more going on with eyes before, during, and after a movement. The study of eyes is a facinating one that we'll try to capture elements of in the 'annotated'.

I love it. Very cute. The only thing I would change is inside the mouth. When he opens his beak, you can see hair inside.

I can't wait until I can do things like this.

Very good animation!

I do agree with Rodney.

The eye animation will spice up your clip.

Thanks for the comments guys :)

I made another pass on the animation mostly worked on the eyes and cleaned up the animation a little, then added a little sound to spice it up

As soon as I clean up the groups and adjust the rig a little, I will give everyone the bird ;)
