*A:M User* Roger Posted June 10, 2017 *A:M User* Share Posted June 10, 2017 That's a bit nuts. Seems like if the goal is immersive gaming, it would benefit from being a bit taller to take up more of your field of view.

Fuchur
If I was you, I would get at least 2 of them... one in front of you, one behind you... about 320° of pure epicness .
detbear
Looks like a great alternative to having "Dual" monitors.
John Bigboote
A monitor like that would be very helpful in the business I am currently involved in... tradeshow presentations. Our typical video/animation resolution is 7460 X 1080... sometimes even larger. This is why I am enjoying using Video Copilot's Element 3D in After Effects. It can take an A:M model or animation (obj seq) and render it live in AE at full-resolution complete with AO, reflections, DOF, fog, IBL, shadows at about 3 seconds per frame- along with all the other filters, layers and compositing that goes along with an AE job. Attached is 1 frame from a job I am currently working on, 6640 X 1080 and 90 seconds in length. It is not all 3D- but I use 3D extensively thruout... to render full-res 90 sec file... 1.5 hours. I want this monitor!

Admin Rodney Posted June 15, 2017 Admin Share Posted June 15, 2017 Can't even imagine trying to justify that to the wife! Suggested dialog: You: Honey, I need to buy three or four monitors within the next year so I want to give you fair warning in advance. Wife: Not a chance. You have too many monitors as it is. You: You are right. Thanks for keeping me sane. Wife: (to self) RIght. You: Honey, how about one large monitor instead of four? Wife: No. Okay, that didn't work either. Back to the drawing table. Much more enjoyable than monitors anyway, especially on the scale to take that thing ! says Mr Grumpy (me ) Edited June 15, 2017 by robcat2075 fixed unquote
