Fuchur Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 In general i do not have a bigger problem with such things but this is very unpolite if you ask me:https://itunes.apple.com/de/app/animation-master-for-ipad/id692083504?mt=8 Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted October 11, 2014 Hash Fellow Posted October 11, 2014 I'm surprised that "Animation:Master" is not trademarked. Or is it? Quote
Tom Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 The only trademark that shows up in a USA governent search is "Animaster"... by a film company from Taiwan Quote
jakerupert Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Since our Animation Master is not sold at the itunes store, its not a big problem. Besides isnt the name "Hash animation master"? Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted October 12, 2014 Hash Fellow Posted October 12, 2014 I'll note that you can't call a car a "Corvette" just because you don't call it a "Chevrolet Corvette" or sell it at a different location.I think Martin D. Hash, attorney, should send them a cease and desist letter. Quote
pixelplucker Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 They probably never heard of Hash Animation Master, simple cease letter would make them change the name I'm sure. There is a blatant knock off the the Form1 and MakerBot printers. The Form1 knock off even starts up with the Form1 logo! Lots of stealing these days, makes me wonder if I should even bother with any patent's, just seams to be lawyer fodder and probably not worth the fight. Quote
