Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted February 28, 2013 Author Hash Fellow Posted February 28, 2013 Now with pointy sharp things... plantTest000.mov I don't like the way I've attached the arms now. Real cactus arms are more like buds sprouting than continuous surfaces. I also notice that the hair seems to use the same random pattern on every patch. I woudl need to mix that up more if I were going to pursue this further. Quote
johnl3d Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Interesting would not want to shake hands though.. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted February 28, 2013 Author Hash Fellow Posted February 28, 2013 This is odd. Now the hairs appear fairly randomly except for past the elbow on one arm, where they just have one out of the center of each patch. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted February 28, 2013 Author Hash Fellow Posted February 28, 2013 The simpler, not-spline attached arms look more appropriate in this case. Quote
Gerry Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 And you can make a girl cactus just by putting one cactus flower at a saucy angle near the top! Quote
