aen916
Very nice work. Reminds me of "The Crusher" from the old Bugs Bunny cartoons.
thefreshestever
great model, really like the style.... could you post a wireframe?
jirard
The model is actually based on The Crusher. I cant seem to render in wireframe for some reason so I will just upload the model. crusher.mdl
martin
Very cool. I want to see this guy finished and throwing punches! (Top of Crusher's head is shaped more like the top of an egg. Nose to mouth also shorter... But if you're not doing the exact Crusher, that's okay.)

I want to use him and the rabbit off the cd and practice animating based on the actual cartoon.

Heiner
Cool work, great modelling. Do you mind sharing how you got the skin that it looks so niceley? Cheers Heiner
StormedFX
Yet, another great WIP by you. CHEERS!
jirard
Thanks Guys Stormedfx I like your stuff too. If you ever want to work on a project together l'm willing Heiner what toon settings did you use for this character. As far as the skin goes I used sss and a 4 point light setup similar to the one in the default choreography. I deleted the choreography so I cant show screen grabs but I will set it up again for you and upload it. Make sure to go through each individual lights properties and that will help show why it (the render) looks the way it does. Half is lighting and half is sss. Heiner
Hello Jirad, here is the toon settings i am using. I am wondering, if you keep the nice SSS look when you using toon rendering. If you try, please post results, anxious to see em! Cheers Heiner
jirard
Thanks Mtpeak2 Heiner here are some renders done with sss, ao, and sss with your toon settings. Here is the lighting that I use Choreography1.cho
Heiner
Hmmm, when i look at renderings, i miss the toon lines? They seem not to be there at all ... you sure that you not only made the settings, but also turned toon rendering really on? Cheers Heiner
jirard
Here is a closeup. I used the same settings you posted along with sss.

aen916
Wow, he's looking great! I can't wait to see the fight scene.
StormedFX
Your SSS looks so great... I have some ideas in mind and may be we can use it as a starting concept, or we can start from your concept... I still have to learn a lot as far as the animation part in AM... I think I am getting a hang of it as far as the modelling part... I am not realling good in the mechanic part, I have started to dive into with one of my model. CHEERS!
