flashawd Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Hi - just wanted to post the final images and short animation of the Scuba Tree Frog - modeling practice project I have been working on. Here is a link to the short animation on my site and below are some pics from the animation that are also on the site. To see the Frog animation click on Frog image button on the top - when it loads click on "View Animation: Scuba Frog" www.3DCharacterAnimation.biz Also wanted to thank everyone that answered my posts when I got caught up on this project and all the other - your help is very much appreciate. elliotclem1 Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 WOW that looks absolutly amazing!!! How long did it take you to render. Fantastic job. Quote
flashawd Posted November 7, 2007 Author Posted November 7, 2007 Hi Elliott - thanks, not that long actually - about 17 hours total - I have a few different camera angles that I rendered seperately. Quote
Paul Forwood Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 That does look good! I would be tempted to put some finger and toe wiggling in there and also have the boat bob about a little, especially when he shifts his weight. Go on. Give it another pollish. Quote
Tom Rennen Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Outstanding work! Can't wait to see more... Quote
flashawd Posted November 8, 2007 Author Posted November 8, 2007 Thanks guys. Paul - I knew someone was going to mention movement of the canoe - I caught that right after it took 14 hours to render. And the wiggling toes and fingers would be a good touch - maybe when the shark shows up - he gets nervous and starts figiting a bit. Quote
Kelley Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Really nice piece of work, but shouldn't the scuba tank disappear into the water? Quote
flashawd Posted November 9, 2007 Author Posted November 9, 2007 Hi Kelly - that is part of the humor of it - it really isn't water - it's just him standing on the white backdrop and then the shark fin comes in Quote
Kelley Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Hi Kelly - that is part of the humor of it - it really isn't water - it's just him standing on the white backdrop and then the shark fin comes in In that case, you're right on the money! Quote
