C-grid Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I am working on a House inspired by a photo in a magazine. Niels ps. I tend to colour a little while modelling, so only a solid-color is assigned. Quote
Dhar Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Ooooooh, I could use a house like that. Nice work Niels. Quote
C-grid Posted January 16, 2007 Author Posted January 16, 2007 Ooooooh, I could use a house like that. Nice work Niels. Thanks Dhar. Niels ps. Last week, there was a post from someone with a link to a page that sell a device that make a reallife object from a 3D-model, shall I order two? Quote
Luuk Steitner Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 That's a nice house Niels. Are you participating in the architectural contest? Quote
Nunsofamerica Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 looking good keep it up. thats going to be a pain to light. lol Quote
Paul Forwood Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Very nice! It looks sort of neo-Georgian. The little detail on the double-arched window, where the arches meet, should not be overhanging the window frames. This will look superb with some textures! Quote

Thanks Paul, I see what you mean, I also noticed something else, look at the white-window frame, there shouldn't be any shadow on the leftside. Niels Quote
MattWBradbury Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Please tell me you have V13 and you are going to render some awsometastic AO renders; if not, you can always use one of Yves's light rigs. The house looks fantastic. The only thing I can say is that the walls look too white. I agree on the arches, they look natural and flow well with the architecture. Quote
C-grid Posted January 18, 2007 Author Posted January 18, 2007 That's a nice house Niels. Are you participating in the architectural contest? Thanks, the reason to build the house is not the contest, but the reason to build it now before other objects I need is indeed the contest. Niels Quote

GOD created the earth, it was just the basic thing, no humans lived there yet. Then GOD created (basic) light, then the second(moon) and third lights(stars) then made the movements needed to make the difference for day and night. What I am trying to say..., I will build the garden first before continueing with further lighting, alot of light is added after that. Niels ps. I do have 13. Quote
Dhar Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Yeah, but God did all that in six days. So what's the hold up (I am only kidding, joking, poking fun, light humor - please don't read too much into it - no answer is necessary) Quote
C-grid Posted January 18, 2007 Author Posted January 18, 2007 I started the day before yesterday, so I haven't spend all six days yet... Niels ps. It's a misassumption GOD stopped building after the sixth day, He did notify what He did on the first six, keep in mind, that a day(1 cyclus) can be put to 10.000 year if it's needed, and moving the sun around while working isn't what you call 'a (human-)day' either Quote
C-grid Posted January 19, 2007 Author Posted January 19, 2007 Latest overnight-render. Niels ps. Paul, I also changed the 'ears' of the middle-top-window. The viewer-left window is open Quote
Muff Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Funny response Dhar! Nice wip. Must be hours in a sitting position and eyes straining on the monitor to do all that. Quote
