Kelley
Started out trying to build a mouth that I could stich to an existing head. After hours of pulling CP's around, I had something that could be the front of a fish. So I went with it. [The fact that I just re-watched "Finding Nemo" a few days back could have something to do with it][attachmentid=14832][attachmentid=14833]

Kelley
Great designs and textures! Lots of personality! btw... could you (please) give us some wireframes (also from your avatar character) Sure. Here's two on the avatar. I'm just posting the head because [being a soldier] he's packing equipment [belts, ammo pouches, gas mask cannister, bedroll] and the wireframe gets to be a jumbled mess that's hard to decipher [and I put all that stuff there] and my screen isn't big enough to zoom in and see everything in one shot. And then the fish...whom I've taken to calling 'Flo', after the aquarium fish in "Finding Nemo" [Deb] who thought her reflection was her nutty sister Flo. nixie
You could loose alot of splines on the fish mesh and still retain Its shape, nice work though. Love the colours! Nixie
Kelley
You could loose alot of splines on the fish mesh and still retain Its shape.... True. I had started with the mouth [forward of the eyes] and when I decided to build a fish from what I had, I just started extruding backwards, re-sizing as I went. So I have more cross-sections that would be necessary that if I had planned to make a fish right from the start. But hey, I'm a reformed polygon modeler...and we know what they're like when it comes to CP's!
KenH
Great fish! Does he have a part in the soldier short? Also, I find that a shaded wireframe is easiest to make out what's going on with the splines.
