  1. How'd you do your clouds? I've been looking for the best way to make clouds, and I like yours
  2. Definitely rotoscopes! There are some great trek ones. Go to Star Trek Schematics this site is absolutely amazing!! You'll find all that you need for the defiant here. Also Ex-Astris-Scientia has some schematics. That'll take you to the defiant.
  3. Here is just another pic showing the hull and deflector in work. I suggest you do make a defiant, I would be interested in seeing that ship built with AM. My next goal after the galaxy, is to attempt a sovereign!!!!!
  4. Well, for no real reason, I've decided to start building a galaxy class starship. I'm thinking about maybe doing a whole line of star trek vessels and then I don't know what! I know that I am going to use my Galaxy class to play with doing special effects like phasers and shields and warp and etc.
  5. I see where you're going with this. It will obviously look better if the whole puddle is there, but it looks good so far. Maybe when the spout goes up, pinch the bottom of it in some, then let it go back out when the whole thing collapses into the puddle at the end.
  6. I don't know if you have anybody doing this, but I would do special fx and stuff if you wanted me too. I've been learning how to do it some and is what I like to do best. I can do things like warping and phasers and torpedoes and such, if you wanted me to, because I'd love to work on this project, being a fan of trek and all.
  7. Did you model all the detail on the engine?
  8. I see what you mean about the star destroyer. It looks a little... unfinished, surface wise. Could use more details. I'll try and either build from scratch, or take that and modify it.
  9. That's awesome! Have you started filming then? I'll have some models for you very soon, but I have an important project for school that will take the better part of two weeks. I will work on your project whenever I get the time.
  10. Here's a project I started to work on, but never finished. This is the pinnacle of my anim8or creations http://cosmiccamera.mybesthost.com/prophotos.htm
  11. Something I just remembered..... What's the possibility of having the cannons able to rotate on an axle? One shot i had in mind is of one of the awings being chased by a TIE and the pilot rotating his cannons 180 degrees to shoot at the chasing TIE. That's no problem at all. As for Star Destroyers, I'm working on a few designs for my own tests and stuff, so when they're built, I can let you have them. The Jedi Starfighter was created with Anim8or!!! That's awesome, I haven't used that program in ages!
  12. Hey, what do you know, that's the exact image I'm using for my rotoscopes!
  13. Sorry it's been a while. Here's a little more on the starfighter. Modeling should actually be down in the next week or so, and then i'll move onto texturing.
  14. How do you animate materials anyway. I know sort of how to use effectors, but how do you animate something like you did or anything else for that matter
  15. No problem, I'll put the whole prj. Here's where I'm at after 10 minutes.
  16. (Mouth drop in awe with saliva dripping out) Damn, I wish I was that good!
  17. Understandable. My first film was in my tiny tiny bedroom with a bed in it. Not great for filming if you know waht I mean!
  18. I'll give it a whirl. An A-wing isn't that hard. Do you have a date when you want it finished by?
  19. here is a badly rigged thom model. i plan to make a short. Would like tips on moving the camera to make it seem "real" i will rig thom better, i just didn't have the time tonight thomjumps.mov
  20. The Dark Tree textures are fantastic, just go to their site and download the folder. AM should already have come with the darksim symbiont material plugin, you just need the texture folder. here is a zip of a zip of the darksim folder, hope it works! DTRep_thumb.zip
  21. Well, after that, somehow pork doesn't sound so appetizing for supper tonight!
  22. Personally, I think the arms are fine
  23. Keep it up, I (being a fan of trek) look forward to seeing the final product (which I hope is an animated film) BTW how are the interior sets coming, or have you worked on them?
