  1. There may already be a way to do this but if no one has posted anything yet.... Here's a way to switch between camera shots, angles, rotations etc... just using one camera, during one render. I've included the project file so you can pick at it. 1. Set the camera's "Interpolation Method" to "HOLD". 2. Move the camera to a different point in time. 3. Now the camera will quickly switch from one view to the next. camera_switch.zip
  2. Everything's coming along very nicely...
  3. Yeah we're actually working on some new material now, we're going to crank things up a notch too I'll post all new scenes on my new website once it comes available. Thanks for your comments!!
  4. Just some more deleted production archives... In February of '06, Angelo pitched an idea to me about making a sci-fi adventure. I later storyboarded some ideas, setup some models and produced what you're about see. It wasn't long after that, that we went with the Anne Manx on Amazonia Universe. So the details in the enclosed files were never finished and the shots never used. The concern was that it was too starwars-ish, so we bailed. btw, the audio is damaged in the divx clip, half of it works and the other half doesn't. CAUTION: SOME NUDITY archive.zip
  5. This is a cool project! I like the 2D look your backgrounds have. Are they painted in PS, on canvas or is it toon rendered somehow? A 2D background has to save tons of rendering time.
  6. Ha ha! Motion capture??? Dude, that's a HUGE compliment! Hey, I take what I can get!!! Actually, I've been doing this kind of animation for less than a year and I think that last statement made it worth the while; thank you!
  7. Here's a deleted scene-- well some of it. What happened just before Anne fired the missile at Jean? The title at the end wasn't used either, it was mainly to end the shot. Rendered in shaded mode- divx deleted_scene.zip
  8. Hey guys, thanks for the comments! Angelo and I have teamed up to create the visual version, based on RRCA's radio drama, of "Anne Manx on Amazonia". It's been fun, I've learned a lot and really appreciate the encouraging feedback. I'll post a few clips that ended up on the cutting room floor-- scenes that never made it to the final edit so to speak.
  9. Ancillary??? I had to look that one up LOL! If I got the meaning right, then yes, he will be sort of a side-kick to the main characters. I have an older gent that I'm going to post but his body needs to be remodeled to fit the new storyline. I'm also getting rid of his more realistic hair in favor of a more 'cartoony' style. Thanks Martin!
  10. Thanks Andyg! No, I haven't animated them yet, but soon. Good idea! I'll try the porcelain. Thanks KenH! Hey Scott, thanks for your questions & comments! Actually, the robot is the same model- front and back view. Although it does look a bit confusing, I think the pelvis area is the culprit. I'll take a closer look at the boy's nose too, thanks again! Yeah, I didn't spend a whole lot of time texturing the boy, I wasn't sure if I'd use him in my movie short but it looks like enough people think he makes the grade. Thanks! Thanks everyone for you comments, this helps me a lot!
  11. [attachmentid=21749][attachmentid=21748][attachmentid=21747]Just want to know what you think about these characters- should I change anything? How I can improve them or whatever. thanks
  12. I'm glad to hear that... Don't get me wrong, I like SW but with this kind of talent, you ought to be working on your own stuff. Any idea of what your thinking of doing?
  13. Well... You've got the traditional mouse-hole opening, puts me more in the mind of an igloo rather than a cave. If you're going for a cartoon look, then it's a start. A more realistic approach would be modeling a sort of large crack in the side of a mountain?
  14. Just cash-wise. George doesn't mind folks making SW fan films, it's cashing in on those films and or merchandise that he has a bit of problem with...
  15. This stuff looks fabulous! Both of you guys have a monumental task ahead with the Star Wars Universe and I can't wait to see the finished product! You guys must really be big Star Wars fans because you can't sale any of this stuff, pity.
  16. Looks real good man! I love the lighting but what is "AO" when you talk about the setup?
  17. Nice camera angles and I like the transitions you've got going on. I thought the character's overall body movements were a bit excessive though, I guess one could argue that it flows with the music... A little confused with the actual story, she was writing something called 'spy world' but looks like she's involved in burglary. The lighting was fabulous and I hate lighting, so great job! Great cinematography and great direction! I like the attention to detail as well with the curtain movement and lights coming on across the street when the neighbors hear the dog. Great Work!!!
  18. This stuff's just funny! I tune in just to see what happens next... I'd be hilarious if you have shaggy dodge a hail-storm of missile strikes like Jim Carrey did in The Mask! Good work, man!
  19. Looks good! I see it's made for Mac or PC, is there a demo?
  20. Wow man! Not bad! I hate lighting a scene but it looks like you've got the hang of it. So will the whole story center around this stump? and, are there any pics of the main character?
  21. I saw "NNX Leaving Space Dock" and thought it looked really good but it seemed like it lacked in a couple areas, for instance: -At the beginnning when the little ship is gliding through space and into the space dock, more sound fx, i.e engine noise and airlocks would have sold it better. More detail & 1 or 2 small blinking lights in that little glider-ship wouldn't hurt either. -On the live action acting side, maybe more "kirkish" emotion from the captain when giving orders would be cool & probably different camera angles of the captain too like depth of field or something along those lines. Overall, nice work!!! 4of5 stars!
