  1. Hi, ya all For the last three weeks I have been putting a ridiculous amount of time into my first short It's called "CLOTHESLINE" It's a romantic comedy about a sex starved desert roaming psycho I have 8 shots done, well almost done I still have to go back and fix intersections and what not (out of 10) and may add a couple more but at this point I am pretty sure I will finish, if I keep making enough coffee It will be about two minutes long, includes three characters and be rendered in version 12 to take advantage of the new composite and cloth features. oh, and its timed to Rush 2112 This is the third shot shot 3
  2. Hi aaver I am a little late but am interested in the sky too. I wouldn't mind knowing how you made the clouds with volumetrics. I have tried to make clouds like before but never have got close to the success you had.
  3. Hey, you found a way to add a little excitement to that clip Nice work I liked the way you set it up for that fish to swim right to the boys face for the reaction sweetness!
  4. Hey Gilles, I think giggling boobs might make a fun animation Thanks for the quicktime looping tip I did not know that!
  5. Very nice character. Looks like he could be very expressive. Would be nice if he had some sort of eyes though
  6. Another little update First animation test. Still not totally rigged and could use alot of tweaking but wanted to post some sort of update this test used four mouth shapes open, closed, Ooooh, MVP. http://www.5000hp.com/gallery/brick.mov
  7. Wow I really like this character. Nice animation too "two thumbs up"
  8. Another little update: Working on female character remodeled low patch breast. After watching Bob's tutorial had to try out the dynamics on her Dynamic three bone chain combined with weighting for squash and stretch. This is a quick walk cycle to test. http://www.5000hp.com/gallery/bounce4.mov
  9. Thanks Doug I think you may be on to something. For some reason I have always been a fan of characters with invisible arms and legs. Back in the old days you used to see a lot of them because there just weren't any good deformation tools. Now only the lazy people make them I not sure if this is a magical character or not. Just wanted to add a prop for more interesting pose
  10. Starting to build set for new characters Playing around with displacement materials.
  11. Hi Nat This is looking really good! Maybe you could change it up a little so the hands don't twin as much Just a personal opinion but you may want to tone down the hand gestures a little (its a pretty mellow clip) and concentrate more on the facial stuff. if you changed the camera angle a little you could get some stronger poses especially on that squirrel. Looks like you have some great acting in there. I really like the facial stuff good luck
  12. Those textures do look nice Will have to give that a try After a second look I saw a remarkable resemblance to a vulture, hand, dragon and a sea horse
  13. Model looks great! When you styled the hair did you work with a low hair density factor then increase and tweak as needed? Is that a wig with its own light list? What are her measurements? ps would love to see her do the Huntress dance
  14. Nice job on Santa! very good likeness. I really like the face has a nice warm feeling about it. Did you use a reference photo or did you just model it by the memory?
  15. Thanks for all the comments! The arms and legs were just fill ins I grabbed off another model. (the arms weren't shaggy's but off of the famous KeeKat) My original sketch had all rounded features and no legs. I have tried to keep it as close as I can to this but as suggested may try modeling some legs to hold up all that weight Thanks David
  16. Jim said start posting! So here is my WIP A couple cartoon type characters. The male is basically what he is going to look like. The female still needs a lot of work just started her. I thought it might be fun to give her big saggy breast and rig them with dynamics
  17. very, very, nice love the style. This makes me want to see more!
  18. Very nice model and style! I like the poses too
  19. Thanks for the comments guys I made another pass on the animation mostly worked on the eyes and cleaned up the animation a little, then added a little sound to spice it up As soon as I clean up the groups and adjust the rig a little, I will give everyone the bird http://www.5000hp.com/animations/bird.mov
  20. A new character I modeled yesterday. I was looking to make a simple low patch count bird that would be easy to squash and stretch. This is a little test I made to check out the rig (small download 930kb) http://www.5000hp.com/animations/bird.mov Thanks David
  21. geezzz that geocities does suck
  22. Thanks for the critique zack What i meant to say is I was working on this clip for the ten sec club but didn't have time to finish it(busy season ya know) Thanks again
