Cool! I like the little fella, he seems like a likeable guy. He's the typical all-arounder. He can be used as easter egg or even the main character. And those textures looked pretty nead. *two thumbs up*
-
Well, one has to make updates from time to time, so here's the nearly-completed project. Don't lookie at the red background, it will be removed, it's just... there. SO, here 'tis:
-
Good mood, great camerawork, cool models(kinda hard to see, but what I saw was cool) and great acting! How come I havn't seen you around before? I would love to see more of your work.

OH MY RELIGIOUS LEADER, that's a fine saber!! So well crafted... More than good enough for a Jedi Master. Could you pleeeaaaase spoil us with a wireframe? And about the theforce.net-saber, the only angle it doesn't look good from(that I've noticed) is a 180 degree turn of what you posted in your link, because that makes it look rather plastic-like.
-
Niiiiice! Did you use the theforce.net method on creating the lightsabre? The only thing that iffs me a bit, is the length of the blade. However, I can't really tell because of the angle.
-
So was I, actually. It looks good as it is, but I would like a smaller door for his heart instead of the large thingy that's there now. But it still looks darn sweet!
-
oooooo! And HIS axe...
-
Well, you have to start somewhere...
-
You half-english? As in England or America? 'cuz 'ere it's all American. What I'm trying to say is I'm half American. Bah, easy piecy, both of 'em. Btw, to get a bit ON topic, did you try to preview render it or render with a lower resolution?
-
Good idea. Btw, what did you guys get? We came up in math. If I don't get a 5, something's wrong, because that's the easiest math test I ever saw.
-
You could try rendering it in preview... I don't know how much it would help, but it would deffinetly help some. After all, it's much rougher, but you'll still be able to see the result of your experiment... I think I tried doing some experimenting myself, but I didn't even consider bothering to render it. I tried, but when it said "15 hours remaining" on ONE frame, I just gave a damn. I neeed my computer, can't let a bunch of blobbies take over my computer. Btw, did you have exams t'day aswell? Or are you one year younger?
-
Roughy - is multipass on? Because if not... well, you get my point
-
I often sit wondering about this myself and I've come to a conclusion: A:M likes to render everything... EVERYthing. It doesn't seem to matter much if it's in front of the camera, blocked or invisible, it still has to be rendered. But I don't mind...

This one works. Good attempt, it looks "cloudish". It's actually quite good! Now, does it come with a manual?
-
This one is "broken".

BEER! Now that I have your attention...
Mr. Jaqe replied to John Bigboote's topic in Work In Progress / Sweatbox
It's good, it's sexy, it's yellow and slightly orangeish. No, I'm not talking about the foxy lady, but about the beer. Nice flick you got there. It made me thirsty... -
He just keeps getting better and better! His new eyes look great, though I still think he's a bit beefy, but it's not something that really bothers me... I think Anyway, it... well, I keep saying "good" "nice" and positive stuff, and francly, I'm running out of words. Can't you do some bad improvements for once?
-
Niiiiice! I like this guy even more and more. I have one crit, though, he looks a BIT too beefy, yet he's slim when you look from either side. Then again, that may just be me and my eyes, but he just seems to "broad shouldered".
-
Don't we all? Funny idea, a little stiff when the fuzzy guy shifts direction, but a I like how you scale him so he suits the hat.
-
Oh! Oh! Oh! And a small "door" or drawer for his heart?
-
Whops... Yepp, color will be added. That was one thing I wanted to ask about... I kinda want a atmosphere with a room that's "lighted" by the light that comes trough a window(because there will be a window )? Should I try a sky-light rig outside the room and point it towards the window? Well, that's why I posted it here And about the S, my friend wanted something like this(the "fat" k): http://www.sk-gaming.com

Very... FBI/X-files'ish... Are you working on a story, or something? Because this model has popped up in an unknown number of topics. I'm just curious.
-
WOW! Great shape! Yet so few splines! I hope you're not hired, because when I become a billionare, you'll have yourself a job, Mr! The odd thing is, this guy looks both sad, bold, happy, grumpy and satisfied at the same time. He needs a heart... BAD!
-
Wow... nice! very nice! I was sure you'd used more splines, but you seem to've used just about enought of them, maybe one or two too many, not sure. Can't wait for more! ... HURRY!
