  1. can we have a look from front view aswell? pretty pliiiiiz? with a cherry on top? Kinda hard to judge much, from the narrow angle you see the calculator from, but what I see, looks very good. May need some "edge tweaking", tho, but then again, hard to judge from such a narrow view.
  2. Miss nr 1: The bullet comes out too late, the gun doesn't get "recoiled" before after the first bullet is out of the barrel, unless it's a very slow gun. 2: How about the bullet doesn't "appear" before after it's released from the gun barrel? then you wouldn't have to move it trought the barrel, before you move it away from the gun. 3: The bullet it in a good position to start with, so why is it moved up? why not just (as I said in nr. 1), just let it pop out then? That would make things a lot easier, atleast I would think so. NOTE: Im not too experienced with AM, so my Point of Views/advices may be "bad" or just silly. You have been warned
  3. yes, yes of course as long as it atleast has SOME relation(s) to animation.
  4. higgins, this model is worthy of the Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War intro... No, not worty, it should replace the models in the intro. Man, I click on many threads and see good work, but I seldomly click on one and see art.
  5. well, I see your points, most of them, but this is not the place for theese kind of discussions, that's MY point. let's do models for now, shall we?
  6. is it just me or... I can't find anything AM-related in this thread. Of course people are allowed to express their feelings, Im 110 % for that, but this... this is just bull****, to be honest, weavering philosophic questions into an animation forum. Kinda speaks for itself. This doesn't have anything to do with this thread, nor this forum, so please stop... This is not a request, not a demand, it is a wish. Either ignore it or follow it, either way, know that this doesn't belong in here, unless Mr. MM starts posting MODELS, not religious statements/facts/etc. etc.
  7. Front wireframed:
  8. Yes, that was what I forgot to do, I kept marking my whole model, but no spline to flip over. Anyways, here's the finnished(?) Lottar, the first char I finnished ever! *sniff* Im so proud! He's not perfect, his torso still need some scaling/spline moving here and there, but other than that, he's done(+ a minior miss-splining on the legs). So here we go, here's Lottar, the finnished version(almost ):
  9. Well well well... Mr. Anderson... It's time... for an update... So here we go: 1. I ask Colin for tips, he gives me arm and torso. Do we love him? Yes, we do! 2. Toes are hard to create. Even worse are feet. 3. I like copy/flip/attatch, no, in fact I LOVE c/f/a, but for some reason, I can't remember how to decide where the copy sticks, so I keep getting two 1/2 orcs staring at eachother.... 4. I love Colin... Tweaked the arm, but there wasn't really much to alter, exept I had to make it fit to the rest of the body. So here's a wireframed pic:
  10. ooooh, thank you! thank you! thank you!! It will help a lot! a very big, round, USA-size lot much! Thank you Colin!
  11. To quote a famous lady from a famous serie: "O...my...GOD!" *drool* It's so awsome! How fast is it? How fast from 0-100? oooooH! it's so FINE!! I just wanna take it and hug it!
  12. Jess, this is awsome! I love it! Can you post a scene with the dropship?
  13. thnx a lot Colin!! take all the time you need, a year if you must, Im not in a hurry.
  14. Colin: Im working on an Orc figure, but Im having some problems making his arms and belly more...muclely. His torso is ok and his legs are decent, but Im stuck on both arms and belly. I tried to study other models, but my splining keeps... not beeing the way I want Any tips or... anything at all?
  15. a tip to you, mr MM, try to post your MODEL, 'cuz I would really like to see more of it, please
  16. and of course, side view:
  17. UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE! and about freaking time, too. Made him more muscely and all honor to zandoriastudios, for havinga marvelous model on his page. I looked at it and it gave me A LOT of tips. Gotta love it. Still got plenty of work to do, but atleast he doesn't look like a sissy Orc (at the beginning, it looked like he had breasts... FEMALE ones... I hope it's fixed ).
  18. Dude, this is comming along great, perfect amount of...well, everything, from what I can see. Hope you figure out how you're going to proceed soon, so we can get some more updates on this baby Im wondering about the same thing.
  19. Pretty good, pretty darn good! I like 'im. The only thing Im... beeing picky about is his nose. It looks a bit thin, but Im not sure(may be the view, but Im not sure).
  20. HOLY SMACKERS!! Awshoooome!! I all of a sudden feel like a Cadian Assault Trooper...
  21. Ummm... Vash? what the heck is that? and btw, the model looks kinda cool(forgot to mention that in my last post).
  22. I have to say I agree a tad with Sevenar, of course, you're allowed to have opinnions, but I belive there are certain forums for that aswell. Just try'n keep on-topic, ok?
  23. Hmmmmmm... yeeeeesss, that sounds... riiiiiiiight. Thnx Ken, helped a lot to shorten the legs.
  24. Quality.. Qantity... Well, it's pretty much the same here in AM, you support the quantity of new, awsome effects, we make them as good as we want them. Thank you again, john3d
  25. VERY nice! and so tidy! Only the required amount of splines and CP's, as faar as I see. Great job and keep those posts comming!
