  1. Okay, I did a final render just for kicks. if you get a min. check it out http://www.vrcops.com/vids/Furious1A.mov Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  2. Mike you conformist!!!! Just kidding. yeah, I'm not ready to abandon the method just yet. Still playing with it, I have the teeth to show up on "E" at the 100% value, so, I'll give it a try with the white showing up at something quicker, like 10% or 15% value. I think it's too flash on flash off if I remember when I initially tried this quick method a few weeks ago. But I'll post as I go. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  3. Gee thanks 7, never would have thought of that one
  4. Thanks 7. That fog your talking about is my attempt to achieve a certain style for his teeth. I'm not sure if I want to keep it like that or not.... Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  5. A quick update.... http://www.vrcops.com/vids/ChoFuriousZ1.mov Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  6. Hey guys, another speed practice piece. I'm in the process of making some changes and you'll notice some problems with the face deformation that I'm working on too... But this was definately a fun little project for myself. I'm gonna try and refine this one before I try a full render, but take a looksee! http://www.vrcops.com/vids/ChoFuriousA.mov Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  7. So, do you a short story in the works? If so any info on it? Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  8. Yeah, Join the club! I specialize in worrying unnecessarily! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  9. Wow, the stuff looks fantastic. I see an environment just with the 1 furniture piece in the image. Very nice. And I too like the clawed feet! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  10. HA!!! Fun! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  11. Initially what bothered me on Mickey was that bright spotty specularity. Do you definatly need that? As far as the animation.... looks like it will be fun to watch. Keep us posted Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  12. Wow, cool! thanks for the words. Appreciate the comments everyone. Now to see if I can put something larger together Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  13. Okay, I did a touch up on the end of the vids by changing the last pose... I think it's a bit more natural. Take a looksee http://www.vrcops.com/vids/NightClipB.mov Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  14. I think it's looking good. The specular size doesn't have to be as black and white as smaller means harder looking surface, as a lot of these items have a matte type finish on them that produces a larger specular area. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  15. specular can be set above 100%. Also don't be afraid to pump up specular size waaaay above 100% Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  16. It looks pretty accurate to the picture on the website. I think it would look more realistic if you put some textures on it. They go a long way. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  17. Thanks! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  18. Hey Nixie, thanks for they reply. I think it got screwey at the end cause I just put in a stand pose to finish it off. If I change anything I think I'll try and make him hope up to more of an action stance, it might be more appropriate... Thanks for checking it out Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  19. Me Too:) Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  20. Hey guys, so after a week of doing these little 30 minute (or so:)) excersices I put this sequences together. Even though there are a lot of little problems that could be fixed I'm feeling kinda dangerous with this Animation:Master right now! Also just have a feeling of "This software kicks animation booty!" as I was able to put this together with only minimal time spent. Anyhows... take a look if you get a chance. http://www.vrcops.com/vids/NightClipA.mov Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  21. Hey John, I bet your right, but I also bet I'd rather you work on that than me!!! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  22. Okay, here's another with the eyelids in place! getting pretty excited about doing some more animation! http://www.vrcops.com/vids/ATestA.mov Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  23. Okay, so in order to be able to continue my animation excersices I need a fully functioning character. I finished the eye setup - a la Sphere's deformed in a pose to keep the pupils onthe surface(see keeKat model on hash cd) and deformation boxes to add character to the character! quick and dirty test http://www.vrcops.com/vids/DTest1.mov Mike Fitz
  24. Bevels.... unfortunately you've already built the model.... I find that bevelling is something that is best done while your assembling the model. But you can still do it, try scalling the depth of the modle a little larger than the face/front. you will have ot touch up the mesh a bit though. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  25. Hey Josh, first I'd like to say that very admirable to break away from the forum for 3 months. I don't think more than a day would go by with out at least checking in:) I like all of the samples you posted. I think they all show some very good promise. I don't have any specific issues with your work, except for the first walk cycle that is very very blocky in motion. I especially liked the ball with legs turning around and the side step samples. That tells me that you can animate in a scene. Nice stuff! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
