  1. A classic! Stands up well in time, too... the camera may look a little dated now, but heck!
  2. You may have somehow activated the 'shadow only' option in the objects property window... turn it back to its OFF default. I hope thats it.
  3. I remember hearing about a new version of Newton Dynamics that featured a 'rag-doll' simulator among other things... will V17 incorporate this new Newton? (Slap me if I am asking way too much, I tend to do that...)
  4. Shes a lucky girl! Something like that would be fun to turn into a softbody(rigid cloth) and then 'drop' multiple times using Newton... think of the 'claw' game at the supermarket full of Hello Kitty dolls...
  5. Has anyone experimented with using MatCaps as an automotive paint/environmental solution?

HA! I think I just watched it 100 times... it just does not get old! VERY AMUSING, Serg!
  7. Keeps getting better and better! Why is the one dude's belt undone... nevermind.
  8. Very cool, dig the Flash !
  9. COOL! Hey, I've never seen a tree grow back into itself like that afore...
  10. Ha! I remember asking that same question a little while ago! As Paul says... if the image is available in the model- but with no 'stamps' - then it will also be available in the pose(or action) to apply there.
  11. I think it is a feature that may be newer than the tech ref...
  12. You guys are doing stuff that is blowing our minds! We really-really appreciate your excellent RnD, and your participation on the forum... we are glued to your every word. AND- that is ONE ornery Santa!
  13. Cool! It's a safe practice before and after working with explosions to count your fingers...
  14. With the retopology tool and the MDD action export and improved import/export, A:M may become involved in more commercial workflows! Martin might disapprove, but the additional sales might make him think otherwise. Yeah, 17 will be GREAT!!!! 16 already is a wonder to behold and a real pleasure to work in.
  15. Yeah--- the render quality seems a bit better.... makes me wonder what Martin's opinion is. SO- which renderer did you use for the Bayer spot? AND- what program do you texture and color in? AND- what app did the hair for Santa's beard? Thanks for sharing your awesome work!
  16. Wowsers--- some big ones... some smart ones. AWESOME!
  17. Dang, SERG! Looked at the prj... that is BONIFIED! Thanks for sharing!
  18. Coming along nicely, Gerald. There is something going on under her chin, front of neck... can't tell. Looks great for a WIP!
  19. Thats very cool... I had to do a knot untie once before... it was 'muscle mode' to the rescue, here's the link: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?act=a...st&id=53645 I would be interested in your method, Serg!
  20. COOLIO! Your buoy looks like something I made a little while ago... at about :15 in...
  21. Has a glass-shatter look to it... interesting!
  22. An awesome watch... was that REALLY 2003??? Did Dusan use A:M for Chickory and Coffee? Great job on the forum, Rodney!
  23. Yes, it was both those guys that hooked me. I saw Alien Song at a Siggraph in 1999 and Raf Anzovin was a presenter, speaking before about 18 people in the aisle at the Hash booth. Happy Birthday(s) Both are animation 'Gods' now... and our forum is WAY off their radar screens.
