If the camera roto disappears in camera view, just click on an empty space in the chor and hit the spacebar to refresh the screen. That works for me, it's just a memory issue. We could lower the res of the roto, but not as low as the final render. Rendering at 854x480 should not be a problem with the rotoscope and front projection, but personally, I don't see the point.

Redoing Schlitzy's hair would be the way to go. I redid the hair (quickly, needs work), rendered in 8 min 28 sec. And yes, I didn't do the hair for the slipper yet.
-
Just turn hair OFF, when rendering, to test it.
-
Schlitzy uses the old hair/fur material. You may not get it looking any better. You may consider redoing the hair with the new hair material.

Are these times for the render a "Render to File" or a "Quick Render"? Mark, sounds like you got a nice setup there.
-
Is that just the set? Or, do you have characters in it?
-
Sorry for the delay people, there were a few issues with the set when rendering in v13, v14 and v15 (did not render the same). Hopefully we can get the show on the road soon. Robert, I sent you an update.

I don't know about that David. The modeling is pretty basic, nothing fancy here. Alot of the parts are just modified cube models from the A:M cd. Now Stian, on the other hand, makes us all look bad.

Nice models David. I could use the dumpster, you posted, in my project I've been working on, thanks. Now I have to build an alley for the set. [EDIT] David, there's no dumpster model in the zip folder posted.

Thanks. Stian, it pretty basic, 1 z-buffer kleig and AO.

Thanks again guys. Here's an update. I'm debating whether or not to add the lights to both sides of the street (the lights may change, found these on the extra cd). Still alot to do, but it's getting there. This rendered in just under 13 mins.
-
No, the doors are just decaled patches. Here's a test render using 8 street models (24 buildings) and wireframe. It rendered surprisingly fast.
-
Thanks guys. Added handrails, but I think I'm going to change the rails on the center building. I also made this so it is tilable. I created an assembly action using the street model and added the 3 buildings as action objects. Then in the chor I added 3 street models and applied the action to all 3 models. I may add poses for each building model to vary the texturing.

Thanks Ken. The film grain look is most likely do to the bump textures and AO.

When I was working on the "Bus Stop" set, for the forum project, there was a few people that wanted multiple sets. I had a few ideas, but there was not enough time with the deadline Robert set for the project. This was something I've been wanting to do for awhile, but never got around to it. There's still alot to do, but I figured I would post my progress on it.

Looks great Stian. Try adding and "euler" constraint on the main rod bone. If that doesn't work, try adding a target bone that the main rod bone is constraint to "aim roll at".
-
Robert, the set has been sent.
-
This is it, I'm done. If you don't like it, thats just to bad, I had enough with the changes. Robert, I'll have it zipped and sent to you sometime tomorrow night.

Ok, here's an update. New trash can, added storm drain, added manhole cover and reverted back to the old sign with new decal.
