  1. Hi! Any news on this?
  2. Can someone redirect me to a place where "bitmap plus" is explained? Greetz, Elm.
  3. Just recently I was watching a very interesting Amiga documentation on TV. Warhol was told to absolutely NOT TOUCH the paint bucket button during the launch demonstration - because the amiga guys were afraid of a system crash... The first thing Warhol did after opening the Debbie Harry Picture was.... well you can guess the rest. System kept running though. The Amiga guys were sweating blood at that moment I guess.
  4. Did the same test as you did above, robert. Works. I do have another choreography with render errors. Still have to figure what's wrong there.... None of the things you assumed...
  5. Hi guys. Can anyone confirm that, if an object is set to be transparent (let's say 50%), it's not rendering right? I get blacked out geometry. Hm. Greetz, Elm.
  6. Fuchur! You're the man! What's odd: The standard shortcut for this function is " / " - which actually IS Shift+7 on the german keyboard. It doesn't work though, unless I specifically enter "Shift+7" as a new Shortcut.... Anyway, thanks a lot Fuchur! Solved.
  7. ********** SOLVED *********** Hi guys! Just subscribed to v. 19 and was shocked: Shift+7 (select a whole "object", or whatever you want to call it..) doesn't seem to work. Am I dumb? Please help me to find it.... A:M without Shift+7 is absolutely non-usable for me. Greetz, Elm.
  8. Great thread! Wasn't aware of that Euler thing... GREAT knowledge!
  9. Bravo, Steffen! And everyone else involved!
  10. Hey Martin! Good to have you on the forum again! And thanks for your detailed post, a very interesting read.
  11. I'd like to know / see more... What soft body dynamic examples are you talking about? Greetz, Elm.
  12. VERY VERY VERY NICE !!!! I haven't played around with simcloth so far ( I think )... This really makes me want to... Could you post your workflow on that?
  13. I have submitted that feature request. This would really be a cool feature.. but I doubt that it would be easy to code / implement... but what do I know
  14. Can someone point me to where I can place a feature request please?
  15. Hi guys! I searched the forum and all I got was ancient threads about this feature, which didn't provide any infos on its usability... So I thought I ask again if anybody knows IF this Light map thing works, or maybe even HOW.. Or: does anybody know a (reasonable) workaround for 'baking' light and shadow into dacals / maps / whatever? Greetz, Elm.
  16. Perfect! - I wasn't even aware of enabling "overflow" (margins) in the baking dialogue. Thanks for pointing that out!!!!
  17. I'd like to add, that you do not NEED to use the bake function before exporting (I do not like it, because the automatic / baked decaling is a bit too chaotic to me, and there are seams along the patch edges...). Instead, you can alternatively make your own, more convenient UVs on your model, and then export the OBJ. The rest of the workflow stays the same. EDIT: This Video by William Sutton shows exatly what I'm talking about: https://youtu.be/czaYXaf_9D8
  18. Hi John! That would make a perfect "night and day" example! You can be sure that it will look MUCH smoother with help of that tangent shader blur method. One thing I'd like to know looking at that example: Are you using the muh hair shader in that rendering? greetz, Elm.
  19. nachträglich meinst Du... danke Danke!
  20. Ha! Naw --- come on... I get an A:M-to-octane-export, right? Oh - no - wait! I know what you got for me... A proprietary A:M GPU Render engine ...RIGHT? SOFT BODY DYNAMICS, TOO ?!? W O W ! Where can I download?!
