  1. My basic background is Blues/Bluesrock. Could you refine the term kick-ass? In the style of Lynard Skynard or ZZ Top perhaps. Or were you thinking something along the lines Manilow?
  2. Lookin good, Gene! I hope the Old Guy ends up with the Hot Chick. Do I need to send you another copy of the tune to get rid of that sound glitch?
  3. Very good suggestions, all. Very good progress, Tim
  4. Jequed, email me some character images and scripts an let me see what I can come up with as far as character voices. I have a certain amount of ability in that area. If I can help you out, I will. myron{at}newbergmusiccenter{dot}com Myron
  5. There's more to come with the song that makes me excited to see what Gene is going to do. From the beginning the tune has called for a Texan's touch. As you can tell his character has become my avatar Paul, if you're really interested drop me a line at myron{at}newbergmusiccenter{dot}com. Let's chat.
  6. Lookin' good Gene. I wish I moved that good in real life. Anxious for more!
  7. Nice "soulful" animation of the rendition. I think they have some new treatments out now for that Parkinison's . . . . . Do you look that good singin' the tune?
  8. Excellent job as always, Ms. Gormezano. Is this the "Fairy Tails Can Come True" Creature? With the feather movement, it makes me think of a Chick singing "Boas Will Be Boas"

    Cowgirl

    Very Nicely Done!!
  10. Very nice work, Paul. Would it be possible to show us a wire frame of the Sweeny Todd head? Myron
  11. Thank you, Daniel. I've had A:M since June, and have made various forays with the software including TaoA:M and a few other things. Your simple linear explanation was enlightening to say the least. I've been lurking the forum for months reading every post that comes on, including your search for a way to make a digital readout. I've learned quite a few things about quite a few things. I've been getting good glimpses of some fascinating trees, but after reading your post the forest begins to make sense. It seems that most of the good people posting on the forum, helping out us newbies, have been using A:M for so long, through so many generations of the software, that things that they don't even think about anymore are mysteries to some of us newbies. Thanks again for your insight. Please continue to expound as it comes to you. I, for one, will be more than glad to absorb anything you have to say. Myron P.S. Sign on for S.O. We need you.
  12. A possible place to start might be creating a "set". Terrain, ground plane (textured pavement, grassy meadow, etc.), background or backdrop, sky or skydome. Just a thought.
  13. I wonder if Martin smiles as he reads our speculation about his thought process? When I was first considering my purchase of A:M I went to the website. I had never been much of a surfer and other than e-mail I barely used the web. I admit that initially, I had a similar reaction: "Don't they want my business?" But shortly, even with my limited knowledge I manged to find, with no difficulty, the demo video, tutorials page. and more information than I could comprehend. If someone gets to the main page and is not computer savvy enough to find the information, they will more than likely have difficulty using the program. To use any program you have focus on what is there, not lament what is not. If you can't find your way to the system requirements, you probably have more computer than you are able to use.
  14. Inspirational work! Great Website! Translation: Geiz ist geil= ?
  15. This is awesome. I hope to be using this rig soon and often. Thank you, Mark, for all of your time & hard work. Myron

    Render Issues

At the frames where the flickering occurs, the truck seems to distort as well. It would seem that they may be tied together.
  17. Better than I could do yet. Nice homage to Jerry. He was never fully appreciated as a performer and will be missed. Myron
  18. I've been following you project through out. It's looking really good. I know that ninja's mystic makes them appear to defy the laws of physics, but during the jumps it feels like your guy does not have mass or inertia. Freshest's crits are on the money. Also, while in the air the body line could shift from \ from the takeoff to / for the landing. Good work. Myron
  19. Sounds good, Rodney, the more done in A:M the better. So let the instruction begin . . . . Myron

    AM 2008 rig

I told him that I did not yet have the skill set, but Robbie kept nagging me. He wanted to express his gratitude for his new 2008 bones. So a week or so later my digital wastebasket is overflowing with crumpled up electronic attempts, and I feel like a preschooler bringing home a finger-painting. There’s a ba-jillion flaws & mistakes, but such as it is, here it is. At least Robbie’s off my case now. Thanks__Mark.mov
  21. Yes, thank you for the model. Very well done. (He would have gotten my vote)
