tysono_71 Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 So I was poking around on A:M Films and the first video under Animation called Star Trek Red Squad takes you to a porn site. have fun Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted June 29, 2016 Hash Fellow Posted June 29, 2016 I'm not sure who curates A:M Films now... Quote
Fuchur Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Hm... that is done quite nicely... I can't check that here but will have a look at home... (no I am not talking about the porn film but about how it got that re-linking working ) See you *Fuchur* Quote
Fuchur Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Okay I had a look at that now... this is because of a comment on that video, not the video itself... I have sent a mail to Jason so he can check on that... See you *Fuchur* Quote
Fuchur Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 It has been fixed . Thank you very much for telling us. See you *Fuchur* Quote
Jason Simonds Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Hello, Sorry about that... It's all fixed. Purged 6k users, A ton of spam comments, and fixed the security problem(update company using a dumb password). So it should be all set. Still working on video uploads but that should be fixed soon. Admin Rodney Posted July 23, 2016 Admin Posted July 23, 2016 This is primarily for Jason... I was notified by someone via another forum that videos are still sending folks to porn sites and the first video I clicked on via A:M films just sent me to one. In my estimation it'd be better to shut down A:M Films entirely than to have folks interested in checking out A:M entertained thusly. It appears that any video image clicked on is effected. Not just comments/links. Quote
Fuchur Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 It is about comments... it is a javascript-redirect in the comments which is active before anything else is loaded sometimes... I'd say we need to find another video script for that... See you *Fuchur* Quote
tysono_71 Posted July 24, 2016 Author Posted July 24, 2016 Please note that Chrome, Safari and Mozilla will be dropping support for Flash. I noticed that a lot of the videos are in Flash. I am not sure much can be done about it unless there is something out there that can convert them from flv to mp4 Quote
Fuchur Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 There are converters available, but that would take some time... Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted July 24, 2016 Hash Fellow Posted July 24, 2016 Maybe a managed Youtube channel would be a solution. 1 Quote
John Bigboote Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 I like the Youtube idea, or Vimeo? I have a highly neglected Youtube channel... but always blown away by the stats Youtube provides... charts and graphs about user locations, gender, where they were directed from and much-much more... all very highly comprehensive. Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted July 25, 2016 Hash Fellow Posted July 25, 2016 We could have a tag like "Hall of Fame" and "Pick of the Litter" for the exceptional ones. Quote
