Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted September 29, 2011 Hash Fellow Posted September 29, 2011 you're first cloth? Start very simple. Don't try to make it thick. Quote

Gerry Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Don't try to make the cloth thick. DEFINITELY do the "wave the flag" exercise in TaoA:M. Then do it a second time. Seriously, it should take you no more than 45 minutes, and doing it a second time will answer the questions you had from the first time. Quote
mouseman Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 And make sure you're using the newer cloth simulation. Older versions of TAoA:M use the old cloth sim. Quote
John Bigboote Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Great advices... maybe give us a little more info on what you are trying to do. Quote
Vertexspline Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 smiles--- i just did the flag tutorial which looked pretty nice and then did it again and changed the size flag and then changed the texture of flag - then tried experimenting more and things started to get a little wonky and then I ran out of time and did not get a chance to dig into the tech reference stuff for help. but I must say i was pretty impressed with the speed of running the simulation on a simple item.
