Very strange interview. His reasoning behind the price drop still seems vague and he's still being elusive about the "goal." At one point, he says they didn't do it for publicity. That dramatic of a price drop would of course, be noticed. And I had no idea what he meant about getting the idea from cellphone apps. :-) I've never heard of a cellphone app that had to meet a required number of sales before it became permanent. Isn't this model more in line with Groupon?

According to the site the goal was met on 14 Feb 2011.

Maybe the goal was 25.

It seems quite a few people purchased multiple licenses.

Interestingly... due to problems logging in... those who haven't yet purchased still have six hours plus change to go before they have to pay full price.
