This didnt take as long as i thought it would.

do you need more detail than this?

Hi thejobe,

Wow that was fast!

Thank you again!

That level of detail is actually ideal for what I am working on so what you have there is good to go.

Hey, Jason... i need a preposterous set of binoculars for the Rear Window Project. Something with huge lenses. Got any ideas for that?

yea i think i can come up with something.

how much detail you thinking?

something like this?

Binoculars_25x100.jpg

Those are indeed absurd.

Maybe not quite that long but with even bigger lenses and perhaps the extra chunky thing in the middle where the prisms are. It doesn't have to be highly realistically detailed, it just needs to say "Binoculars!"

You are a machine.

(In your case that's a good thing!)

Would you be interested in coming up with some short theme music for the WIP section or for Special Projects here in the forum?

I hope to put together a compilation of work seen in those forums shortly and know that any music you come up with will be 100X better than anything I'll record.

I haven't settled on a final presentation format yet. As of now nothing seems to be quite fit to order.

If the spots are without music it'll probably be .gif or flash format.

I am certainly not opposed to that. Something with a lively beat would be awesome.

It probably won't please everyone but what music does?

Note that images will probably change to the beat so it'd be good to have several of those layered into the music so that the images can but don't have have to change to often.

I'm thinking two minutes of images would be more than enough to get a good preview... so it could be a short loop.

Of course that doesn't mean that each 'loop' couldn't be part of a larger sequence that gets stitched together later.

For Special Projects I sense more of an epic feature film quality (Reference: Hash Inc's Tin Woodman of Oz).

It seems to me that the WIP section would lend itself very well to techno. ;)

If your still itching for something to model I could use a movie theater seat like these old ones on ebay:

seat01.JPG

seat02.JPG

You wouldn't have to wood-texture the arm rest or create realistic materials, just group the various parts so I could color them as needed.

You could probably simplify the legs too since they won't show much for my purposes.

Sorry but I already had one.

perhaps he could use a better one?

Spleen's should work well. Thanks!

Hey Rodney. What ever happened with the music? Did you find what you needed?

Thanks for asking... and for reminding me!

I can't say that I've quite found the music I need but you've given me a good starting place to test things out.

I'm a few short days away from my family arriving in the U.S. so I've been very distracted by that. Things are about to get interesting.

Once we get settled in (unfortunately only to a temporary residence) I might have time to delve back into the project but it may be awhile yet.

For now it's slid onto the backburner but I thank you for stirring it up again.

If nothing else I should be thinking about it and furthering the plans.
