pixelplucker Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Anyone have anything they want modeled let me know. Still refining my splining skills and the practice is always nice. My time will be limited soon because I have some beta work coming up and that should consume much of my free time. Quote
Rob_T Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 The Extras disc already has a couple TV's on them. I converted one to flat screen the other day. You should do something challenging. Maybe like a really detailed laptop computer with great plastic looking material. I could use something like that. Or you could do an AMP to go with the guitar models. Quote
pixelplucker Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 I'll toss a laptop together, textures should be easy enough. Want it with the annoying eraser mouse like the ibm's have? Quote

Toss some roto's up so I can work from them. Seems to take me longer to do research than to do the models hehe Quote
Rob_T Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 I'm not a musician so I really wouldn't even know where to start. But a simple Google image search is here: http://images.google.com/images?as_q=Ampli...ges&as_st=y Quote
pixelplucker Posted August 12, 2009 Author Posted August 12, 2009 Maybe something that dates back to that period? Been sidetracked in rigging my fly and trying to get the ik to work smoothly, trickier than I thought. If ya pick one I'll model it for ya. Quote
*A:M User* Shelton Posted August 15, 2009 *A:M User* Posted August 15, 2009 Business telephone. Such as push button multi line desk telephone? Steve Quote
pixelplucker Posted August 18, 2009 Author Posted August 18, 2009 something like the avaya phones? I don't even own a cell phone so not all that phone savy Quote
pixelplucker Posted August 18, 2009 Author Posted August 18, 2009 If anyone has a business phone I would love to have some images of it. Need a nice top, side views as well as with the phone off the unit so I can model the carriage as well. Images on the net have the phone mounted so I can't see any details on the carriage. Quote
*A:M User* Shelton Posted August 18, 2009 *A:M User* Posted August 18, 2009 I will see what I can get for you. Steve Quote
Gerry Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 I've got a nice laptop I did awhile back that I'll put up when I have a few spare minutes. I also plan on putting up a package of the christmas tchochkes I designed last year, and hopefully in time for folks to make use of them this year! Quote
pixelplucker Posted August 20, 2009 Author Posted August 20, 2009 That sounds good, maybe we should make some turkey stuff for thanksgiving. I have some nice ideas on a turkey Holiday packs do sound real handy. Quote
Gerry Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I've opened up my Christmas .prj and ready to package the ornaments, but what's the procedure? We want an image or images, right? I'm open to suggestions about whether I should make a whole package of all of them, and one image showing them arranged together, or one image per item (though that sounds like overkill). I've got a menorah, dreidel, gingerbread house, candy cane, old-fashioned lamppost, stylized christmas tree, toy drum, candelstick, gingerbread boy, gold star and snowman. I think that's it. Should I put them all in one package? That makes the most sense. EDIT: I also need to know the best way to "embed all" and otherwise get these packed up right so all decals get included. Or point me to a tute. Quote
pixelplucker Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 Those look awesome. I would have a prj file with all as you show and save out the individual models so users can import what they want. Quote
Admin Rodney Posted September 3, 2009 Admin Posted September 3, 2009 EDIT: I also need to know the best way to "embed all" and otherwise get these packed up right so all decals get included. Or point me to a tute. While you can 'embed all' or add all models to a single file as suggested I would recommend using the 'Consolidate' feature, specifically using the 'Consolidate to text file (.PRJ) and zipped (.Zip)' option. (see image) It is the only means to Zip up all related files (including images) into one package. Then all you need to do is upload the zip file. Quote
Gerry Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 That's exactly what I did, fortunately! Thanks Rodney. Quote
pixelplucker Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 I tried the consolidate and it didn't include the model, slight flaw imo so I have been saving out mats, models etc into a folder that also contains the prj. Quote
