johnl3d Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Would it be better to post simple things like this effects.mov or this sky.mov or more complex stuff like test2d.mov Quote
NancyGormezano Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 This is a tough call John - They're all valuable, and different people are looking for different things. If your goal is to provide easy access info for others, then the more simple examples work better. BUT your more convoluted twisted evil brain experiments are very interesting to watch, as well as to try and figure out. I LOVE the last one. If these are going on a web site, then what might also help is more descriptive words for each experiment. i.e, categorizing, keywording the experiments with the feature capabilities that are being used in your experiments - eg Newton, blobbies, animating material properties, sprites, animated hair length, etc. I could help with that if you'd like. johnl3d Posted September 14, 2007 Author Posted September 14, 2007 Thanks Nancy for the offer...two evil minds = one good... ....anyway I have to decide how much space I have available but I will agree I should probably document what I post better than my last site. I also have to determine what will work in the newer versions some of this stuff is from 8.5 or even before. Quote
Zaryin Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 I think you should do both. Show the simple example and then show what can be done with it in a more complex example. I love that last one . Quote
the_black_mage Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 dude that last one was awesome!!!! Quote
Kelley Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Definitely go with the last, the biggest, the flashiest! Quote
rusty Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Which do you have more fun doing? Rusty PS: A thought occurred to me; add all your stuff together to create a surreal landscape (or character) == The Land of AM. Quote
