One more thing, I think that the area around his mouth is not as smooth as it could be. I have applied the porcelain material but it could use some help.

I'm posting a shaded wire version in hopes that some of the more experienced spliners can give me some pointers/critiques.

I think that is an excellent head. It already has character and is engaging.

One thing I do when I'm trying to assess splinage is to study the prebuilt models. They usually give me clues as to where I can improve. From the looks of the splines, it seems pretty good to me. It may just be a matter of tweaking.

Also like the three-headed rotation!

It's all done with mirrors my friend.

I'm planning on giving this guy some life. I'm still trying to figure out what his body will look like. Also, I've started on my image submission for the Christmas contest so that may take some time.
