  1. My ultimate advice: buy a bling-bling mirror! Althoug your family might think you're addicted to cocain now it'll definitely improve your facial animation. Definitely. Cheers, David
  2. At the first look: Hey cool, great model!! But then, after a few seconds you get aware of the "unsmoothness" of the car body. Well, this is some side-effects of spline-modeling. Maybe it'll look smoother with porcelain? Anyway, I'd like to see you straighten the contours. If you do this: Perfect!! Good job, well done! Cheers, David
  3. @Jim: You're cheating again!! :-D Her fingers doesn't intersect the staff anymore ...
  4. Bravo!!! I'll stop working on B&J ...
  5. @Nancy: It's just frame 506 of the animation. @KenH: Although I don't plan to change the final layout of B&J I'm eager to know what exactly do you mean with "more curves"? Some Popeye style? Or a smoother blending of hand and wrist (regarding the texture)?
  6. You would grap your head in tremendous pain after loading these super-low-patchy props!
  7. Atomike, I'll write down a little making of the next days if you like, but not today. Maybe tomorrow. In short: I use two grass-bitmaps for two hair-emitters, including some maps for length, density and direction. Cheers, David
  8. Ken, the length is something I have to tweak, you're right. But it seems that the length-map I'm using is not so "tweaky" as I thought it would be. I'll check it. For dynamics and gras: I have to check rendertimes. Maybe I have to trick a little bit, don't know. Anyway, there'll be not so much interaction with the feed. /edit: Ups, killed the last picture with the new version ... :/
  9. Dude, you're ... a loonatic!! Outstanding model, Stian!! Unbelievable.
  10. So, the next test is ready to go. At the moment I'm building the setting for my short. There's still a loooong way to go, the szene is still missing background props (small hills, trees & stuff) an tweaking of the front things. Also the lighting is not final! So there's plenty to do right now. The main intention for this shot was to test the look of grass. It's some sort of "mass" right now and I'll give it more contrast in the future. Anyhow, here you go:
  11. Great stuff so far! I'd like to see more of this, concept designs etc. Is it possible? Cheers, DJ
  12. We need more infos about your person before we start telling you what we really think about this animation: - How old are you? - For how long are you fiddleing about A:M? Cheers, DJ
  13. Jeeez!!! I just slipped over this thread, how could I missed it?! Fantastic model, can't wait to see more (especially with textures!) Cheers, David
  14. Alright, as so many people got problems with this hand-moving, I'll change it. Thanks!
  15. Hi folks! Sorry for the sloooow progress of this project, but here you go with another little WIP-Screenie: You see, I'm still on the run! Cheers, DJ
  16. The style and your model are A-W-E-S-O-M-E!! Or just the kermit-words: Applause! Applause! Applause!!
  17. Rodney, you make me blush ... I'm glad you like it! @Dhar: Well, actually Aschaffenburg is not around the corner (ok, in US-measure-terms it is close by ;-) ). Plus the problem that I really don't know if I'm available at this time. :-(
  18. The "team" consists of me, myself & I. I live in Düsseldorf. Cheers, DJ
  19. As far as I know he's currently working in the game industry, isn't he?
  20. No "real" story, more some sort of Tom & Jerry. You can read more about the characters on my WIP-site: http://www.davbach.de/wip/
