  2. I could, yes. Niels. ps. It ain't part of a character, and this particular prop isn't animated, I did make the bias-handles long and placed weird cause it's ment to be bush/foliage.
  3. I do hope they fix the unwanted movement of a bias-handles, in realtime display and particularly at rendertime. Niels.
  4. Hello Eddie, Opening a new project means an empty project, yet to be filled with p.a. models, images and materials. So, goto FILE left-corner-above, click NEW, go to the right and click model. Niels.
  5. Hello Miguel, This HUFFYUV compression should let you do .AVI with an ALPHA-channel. Alot of times a .TGA-sequence would win my choice over an .AVI. Niels.
  6. Hello HomeSlice, Things you could do for reasonable lighting: Make the catacombe (1 ray)reflective, not mirror like but only to continue the light ray. For the statues, you can decrease the specular intensity(10-35%) and increase the specular size, say like 800%. You could also add some translucency to the statues. Make the ambientlight color white in the surface attributes and add some ambient to lit 'the first black areas'. Niels.
  7. Some of the video's going round in this forum from very nolidgeable people show they use the screenshot and probably forget they could render it to any resolution as well. Niels. ps. I must add, if you work with highresolution display, a screenshot can work faster in some occasions.

TextureMaker There is a water-script somewhere on the forum made by Tobias Reichert, but I personally didn't like that, certainly not for my purpose, so that is not what I've been using, this if you come across that particular script. Yes, with 1 streak and 1 sprite emitter. If you want the exact settings of those, I have to write it down and take it with me next (online)time. Niels. ps.   11. Hello Fran, If you see things moving when playing the timeline in action- of chorview, then it won't be the luckbat-solution. Do you use "Render Preview" or "Render to File" button? Take "Render to File". Niels.
  12. Hello Scott, The solution I could find is the following: Make the same CP-groups of how your bones are attached to the model. Then in the actionwindow of the particular pose, select such a group (probably in musclemode) then lookup the pivot-point of the group and remember it (ergo. copy to .TXT-file). Open the copy of the model, select such a CP-group and change the pivot of that group. Niels. ps. I could be totally wrong about this...did not try any of it... [EDIT] If it really works... Then starting-up two A:M, one with the copy of the .MDL will be faster.
  13. Did you set the range to render allright? Something like, Frame range to Render from 0 to 30? Niels.

  16. Hello Gerard, There is not a way to restrict the pivot when moving it, like holding down keypress [1],[2], or [3]. When p.a. the rotationangle is set to 2 degrees, there is not a key you can hold down, so it snaps at p.a. 5 degrees. Niels. ps. Like you said "It just depends on how you like to work and what is easiest for you." ps2. What a didn't know for a time, is that you can move the translucent box, when it is in front of p.a. CP(s) to select. [EDIT] I do understand you meant it in a helpful way.
  17. This can't be done. Niels. ps. Copy the .mdl file and remove CP-groups surface attributes is probably the unwanted option. ps2. If you have used only 'normal' surface attribs, maybe making one simple-material-surface will override, select all group and assign material, hope this works. [EDIT] If only 'standard' surface atrribs are used, adding a 'proxy-material' to all groups, will give a set/unset option, doing this with the proxy-material.
  18. No. No. Niels. ps. As I recall, the snap-to-grid is also not in function when in comes to the 'pivot-point'. If you go on the request feature tour, please ask for a [sHIFT]+[Y]. (Add CP in the middle without affecting the curve)
  19. Hello Luckbat, I just downloaded the movie. It's worth doing a slowmotion of the round-kick right after it has taken place, continue with her strike, his head may move slightly later in time on the downwards-key, so that she swings just above the head, not 10cm, this will make look her strike and his defence more firm. If you really have alot of time, you could make the head of ebon give some firmer movement at the beginning. Niels. ps. I didn't ask for the slowmotion, just because 'it goes so fast', but it's well done.
