That looks awesome!!!!

Great work!!!! i love the sound effects and the electronic touch pad thing.-->COOL effect. Though there are alot of wierd camera cuts when she is looking at the wall/walking towards it.-->maybe if you just use a couple shots and stick with those two and switch while shes walking.---->(its hard to explain.) I agree with luckbat that she does stare at the wall for a while. GOOD GOOD GOOD WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i really like how it is comeing along.

Actually, in personal opinion , the sword looks kind of comical when it is small, but it could be a tad bit bigger. It fits his overall character. Awesome Character!!!!!!!!!!!!! , really cool to see your progress.

Awesome work on the bottle, great improvements. i agree with eric on his comments about the bottle cap with the wood contrast. I also want to add that it doesn't really look like a solid bottle cap....because it is kind of bent.-----> the bend-e-ness of the cap gives the illusion of it being made out of paper or something bendable. I think you make it just a flat bottle cap. But if you raise it off the wood a little bit, it might look better. Good stuff the bottle is perfect.....very real looking. -
AWESOME! count me in too please

Awesome!!!! i really like the decal work and the over all whole model, good work.

Me also.... it won't let me view it.

Thats so cool, i made a cube a while ago, but never could figure out how to rig it. But your way makes total sense. AWESOME!!!!

Where can you find the treez plugin that you used, cause it looked AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! really good work. i love it. it's great. ( i really only have nice things to say about it.) Ohh, i also wanted to ask you, what kind of lighting setup did you use? it kind of looks like radiosity in some of those shots, but i don't know, it could go either way.

A new book? Thats a great idea!!!!! one thing is that it shouldn't be all tutorials but more of a reference. and definately reference stuff that is not really well known about A:M. i got the the "2000 HAndbook" book before and it seemed like it was all tutorials. And didn't cover a hole lot of stuff, in my opinion. You should include information on radiosity and light set ups, rigging odd shaped models( ones that aren't humans), and basically stuff that isn't covered in the book that comes with the program. and include basic stuff, but also include advanced and intermediate stuff in it. You should make the book long, so not to spare any much needed information. If it's an in-depth book and lengthy book, i would pay the extra money for it. Basically i think it should be a Reference Book. With a huge index Wow!!....Now i can't wait for a new book to come out! P.S.: include lots of pictures.

WOW! That is so incredible, its amazing! But, like gazzmataz said, his waist does look kind of feminine. its too skinny below his chest. but other than that, Wow!!! keep up the good work.

Thats Awesome!!!! I love the baseball cap, sounds like a good story line too!

Thanks man! I would like to keep the render time rather short, so i don't know, i will have to test it out. I have another question, to rig those speakers so the speaker part thumps with the beat or something on that order, should i bone it, or do a pose slider?? I probally will have him do the robot and other stuff, but still need to get a song, which won't be till next monday. But when i do start on the animation i will keep updating. Thanks Haha, i think that was my first time needing to put stuff in quotes

the "touchdown A" clip, the plane touchdowns the front wheel really slow, i think it would look better if it happened faster. And the the "runway lines" clip is crazy cool. That is an awesome effect! :)

"This is actually noise. Once you start to have things move inside the model... you will notice that the "concrete" walls will start to move. lol. 17 minutes is pretty awesome, but it's gunna look a little strange becaues the quality of the radiosity is down." -DanCBradbury How do you get rid of it? Cause i don't really know if i want the walls to be moving, or maybe i do Any other comments?
-
Hey thanks man! I plan to do a short with it. I just got to pick out a song:) Yeah i will definately have to make it low res if i am going to be animating 2000 or more frames! I planned on originally texturing the speakers, but as you said i like it all kind of white.

This is just a test render for a animation i intend to do in the near future... this is my first render with radiosity.... and i don't know... i think it's pretty cool. I kind of like how the walls look like cement, or at least they look like cement to me. I tweaked the cornell box a little-------> changed wall color, deleted the boxes inside, and changed the color that the lights project....in order to fit what i needed, and also added some speakers i made. For the animation: the robot has a cd player on the front of him, but i can't figure out how to model the cd tray. so i might just model a simple cd player, like the ones in cars, and just put it on the wall. Not sure what song to use, but so on and so on, the robot shall dance. But have not started that quite yet. I really just wanted to do something in radiosity, and learn more about it... Thanks Yves for the cornell box Tell me what you think Comments and critiques welcome! OH! before i forget, render time 17 minutes.

the "land 1 675 775. mov" that you posted, looks like the plane isn't really moving, it's wierd, but after a looking at a few times, it does move, but maybe next time, put some sort of landmarks on the runway, such as lights on the ground, cause i'm pretty sure they do have lights. or something on that order, but other than that... Keep up the good work, It's cool watching your progress on this plane Good Job!!!
-
Nice! Did you make your own textures?
-
Ammunition belt would definately add to his character. But in my opinion, you should have a more detailed gun. A very odd shaped head, but i do like it. GOOD WORK! keep us updated!
-
Thats a pretty cool gun! I'm really liking the radiosity in the recent WIP's... You've insipired me to do radiosity.
-
Great improvement on the ears! It's looking good
-
I really like it. Good modeling all around. Keep up the good work!
