  1. I plan to add gills, but don't know if I should use Bump/displacement mapping, or model them with splines? I am also in the process of removing hooks and try to better position the splines for less creases. I need to connect the fins near the tail to the body. Separate objects may cause problems during animation. I need to test it. I need to fix the mouth area too. Here is a close up of the teeth. I plan to add more variation at each tooth to break up the uniformity. Thanks again for all your input. This has been a fun model to work on. My son loves it and wants to see it animated!
  2. Here is a basic shark. Can anyone give me advice about creases and wrinkles. I am going through and checking the splinage, but I just cannot seem to smooth this guy out. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

  12. Nice! Very styalized! Can we see some wireframe shots? Also, maybe just a 360 deg rotation without the camera zoom. Do you have animation plans for her?
  13. Excellent! Can't wait to see the final render!!!

  18. Very interesting effect! Can you show more examples? Joseph www.be3d.org
  19. I like the landing! A couple of crits: I would like to see the camera move a bit to give it a handheld look. Also once the landing gear rests on the ground, the body should settle down and compress the legs a bit to convey weight. But this is just my $0.02 worth Its a great clip! I would love to see more! 20. Still not done.... just tried a render using fake global illumination.
  21. I really like the armour plates! Nice touch!
  22. Just searched the web and found tons of pictures. Added parts from here and there, added a bit of imagination and poof! Just started to form. :-)
  23. Thanks! It's designed from several pictures of different trains. I plan to add a coal car someday, but right now, I'm in the process of producing my demo reel. I will finish up the cabin, then move on to my next modeling example. Thanks again for all your input! Joseph www.be3d.org
