  1. Just wanted to thank you Rodney for posting this I enjoyed it very much.
  2. glad you like the music Dpendleton it's always the hardest part, to just get it right, hey it's all fun. thanks
  3. " viewing shot by shot and scene by scene... it's hard to gain the context." Yes it is. Adding the music was such a large part of the movie for me, as the story teller, what words can't say hopefully the music. will.
  4. love your helpful hints, and thoughts Rodney. Lena just a little mischievously miss understood, therefore her music leads the way. not to serious, just a little fun. and even though Trell has been magically transformed into a wooden sword (against his will!) and is now lost in some unknown land, Trell being a Elf, and a student of magic,...i could say, hes a custom to the strange ways of their realm, and the wickedness of witch Lena.
  5. Thank you ptiversen, now back to other end of the movie.
  6. Hi all, This is the opening of the movie, finished. Audio and Sound included,. Thanks for waiting and watching. WHITCLAND_opening.mp4
  7. I SAY continue! I have always loved the name. "I woke up dead" ' I haven't the expertise that Mark has, but I've been plugging away for 10 years on Just A Wooden Sword almost 50 minutet. If I don't cut any more out. I LIKE what Mark also said about Finnishing each segment, it's not quite so daunting. at the end you'll have a feeling of accomplishmentmt. Just my thoughts
  8. "You should be able to edit all of your posts but posting a new collection in a new post should work too. Jason has indicated that storage isn't an issue and IMO this goes double/triple for the special topics. There is a reason they are special topics after all. :)" Thank you Rodney,I have added back some of the missing clips in the older posts, they may be a bit different but close, I'll continue to add more as time allows.
  9. "Is there someplace we can find more imagery and scenes from earlier in your production? In going back through your topic I see that most of the movies and images you posted are missing. I hope the missing files aren't something I did on my end. If nothing else from time to time I use what imagery I can find to update your banner. :)" Nothing you did, Quite a while ago i thought maybe i had to many file on the web site, so i thought to clean it up, but all it did was remove the movie files. i was thinking of adding back some of them, i don't think i can edit the older post, so i'll just add them as new old post. a little knowledge is dangerous Thanks Rodney
  10. "I would bet Pixar and the lot composite all of their shots," I think your right Mark, there seems to be a lot more lead way, no background things to work around, I just started shooting some scenes this way, as I look back through the movie I see so many places where it would have come out better. Thanks largento
  11. "the light looks like a reflection from a well shes over or something I think it adds to it" Inside the witch's house she has captive fairies, held in glass jars and candles, that give lighting to the room, so I could say that's why the flickering light, but it was not my intent accidents Thanks Steve
  12. "I'm surprised the texture is a time problem in toon rendering. Maybe there's an unnecessary light situation? Do you know what is causing the flickering on the witches face in the first shot?" i used the plugin darksim on the walls of the witch's house and floor, it seems to take a lot longer then if i were to use a bitmap or a decal, and depending on how large the models was, and the lighting, i thought the flicking light on the witch face was coming from her movement. but i'll recheck the lights. see if i can stop that. thanks for pointing that out robcat2075
  13. Hi all, for the sake of render time, because of applied texture, i split this clip into three parts, rendering each segment separately, as a layer, then assembling them at the end. Here the Elves and two mice, William and Onton are running across the room to help Mac Flin. And again Thanks for watching tricksters.mov
  14. Super!!! And congrats on the high viewing numbers. Let us know what sony saying.
  15. I love this statement hahah, I do believe after 47 year of being married to a artist my darling husband agrees with your words of wisdom.
  16. Very Sharp looking creature Ben, looking foward to seeing it in its completion.
  17. Hi all. At this point in the movie the whole gang is inside the witch house, and Elfin is met by one of its inhabitants. :pages_45_and_48.jpg] were getting really close to the ending Thanks for watching inside_the_witch_house.mp4

  21. Hi All. i used a few layers in this clip, Rendering with a black background, then pulled them together in Adobe premier. these scenes do not necessarily fellow in order. Our daughter lost her last fight to Lung Cancer this week. Johnnie Eve Cash with smiles and lots of laughter gave voice to Witch Lena. Not_So_Fast_Witch.mov
