  1. Nice work! I really like the whole idea, I cant wait til you have all the characters and everyhting will come tomgether. I also just got my computer working and I got my new CD so I'll have Flog ready in no time!
  2. Heres a little loop of a piece of paper spinning on a tack... useless? yes!...still cool? YES! NO WAY! I spelled the topic wrong!
  3. xtaz... you continue to amaze me!
  4. Yes summer days...except mine doesnt look so pretty... my picture involved roofs being blown off, windows shattering and pretty much just horrible damage everywhere. (hurricane charlie, I live right where its going)... But at least your happy! haha
  5. hahahahahaha....awesome dude....awesome I love the part where....
  6. Very nice characters and I love the animation! Keep us updated!
  7. Thanks and really good idea Randy, I'll definately have to try that! haha thanks a ton Mediaho!
  8. Thanks!! I thought the plastic looked kind of weird too so I think I'll smooth it out, the only reason I did that was because the real thing was kinda bumpy. I tryed it without bumps already and it looked great but I didnt want to render another image for 10 minutes, I dont know why it takes so long. As for animating it Ganthofer.. I'm definately working on it. I'm trying to combine changing kinkiness, I think thats the right word , with changing color, directional variation and postition variation. I'm also working on making it change color if something touches it! I'll upload some tests when I get to them here, thanks again!!
  9. Thanks! Yes it is pretty patch heavy and I should eliminate some splines.. Almost forgot to tell you the settings for the hair..its hard to descibe since I keyframed the heck out the thickness and color. I figured out it looked most like electricity when its extremely thin because then the glow takes over. It about .04 thickness and then at the tip its like 3 which makes it look like its spreading over the glass. As for the glow..in the choreography the percentage is around 500%
  10. I think I have finally found the look I was going for with the plasma ball I was making. The 'electricity' is oddly enough..glowing hair and you can see the wireframe below. If theres anything else I can change please tell me...hope you like it!!
  11. vwery cool, love the effects!
  12. Thats awesome! I love its face haha , it should make for some great animations!
  13. Thats exactly how my setup looks and I just read about cp weighting and I love it..the only thing is whenever I move anyof the bones on the bottom they move the cps on the top lip too and the teeth. Is there any way to make the weighting ignore some select cps? Thanks
  14. Really like it Damian!! The only thing I see wrong with it was already mentioned...the sections in the lightbeam.. very nice!
  15. Very cool..maybe i should read some on weighting cps..never really knew what it was for.. Thanks alot and VERY good animation once again
  16. haha I actually still have it rigged that way...anyways, how can you use it when his head isnt round? Did you smart skin it so that the lip would slid over the jaw correctly? Sorry to ask questions on your own thread but I love the animation and facial expressions!
  17. Woops didnt mean to post twice but I just thought of something..I'm "trying" to rig my characters mouth and its the only thing holding me behind. I tried Victor Navones technique, how did you rig that face..because that animation is really good, thanks..
  18. Wow GREAT animation , lots of emotion
  19. Good idea! Yeah I'm definately not done with it and I also used to have one. The electricity is really purple I never saw any blues or whites. -thanks
  20. Heres a REAL lighting ball picture for reference... I wish I could get more of that electricity look but I have no clue how I would go about getting it...
  21. I havent updated this in quite a while do to problems with getting the hair "electricity" to glow. But now that so many people have helped me with it I could finally work on it some more... Thanks so much!! I think this is as good as it gets, please tell me what you think!
  22. Thats awesome! thanks but why isnt the blue glowing where theres no light? Thanks a ton! I'll try those settings
  23. Wow!! WOOOOO FREAKIN HOOO!!!
