  2. Your work is amazing Xtaz! I love looking at your work!
  3. Amazing Aaver! I'm going to try that out, I also like your animation Vash.. Heres one I posted a few weeks ago.. unfortunately the compressor I used kills the framerate at the end so you need to go through frame by frame Does ANYONE know of a good mpeg compressor?!?! Water Drop
  4. Great model! Are you using radiosity for the stills?
  5. haha your my hero I felt the fingers should be down too and the ring takes away alot of attention but everything else was PERFECT, your a freaking inspiration!
  6. haha thanks guys, it took 2 sec to make its not like uber complex I was just playing around with the materials and thought this looked cool By the way Grubber and Jon I just figured out that your icons change when you put your mouse over them, thats awesome! haha I should learn flash... anyways the project is below Project3.prj
  7. WWWOOOOOWWW!!!! nice job!, are these all made through the materials settings? I think I'll be buying these soon
  8. omg thats amazing! I have no clue how you did that, thank you so much! You have to admit it was harder than you thought!! lol Thank again though, thats simply amazing how you even got that subtle drop. WOW THANKS AGAIN!!! AWESOME!!! SWEET!!!!!!
  9. That apple looks amazing, your really good at textures! Hey I have a question for you wegg.. Are all of your models on your site modeled with a:m? You have some amazing work to show on your site, keep it up
  10. Aww, I thought it was just doing that on my computer.. Does anyone know of a good mpeg converter. I'm using TMpeg, and it works great except that it plays slow on quicktime, but works great if you open it in Windows Media Player. Thanks
  11. http://www.3dshowcase.lunarpages.com/4D/2004/DW%20Final.m1v Another test of a drop of black liquid falling into a pool of more of the stuff. I just watched the previews for the movie dark water lol
  12. How do you put so much life into the eyes, they looks so real! It reminds me of the eyes on i-robot. I really look forward to your updates and I cant wait til the next! By the way, does that huge scene take a ton of time to render?? Its amazing!
  13. hmm..there shouldnt be any missing files . What are the files that are missing? The only thing I can think of are the skylights but those arent needed, that was just for the final render. As for the animation not working, I'm really sorry, winamp really sucks and so I'm converting all of my animations to Quicktime instead. Its easier to view anyways, I hope that clears a few things up, the animation should be up here any second.. For now, I just finished the new animation and converted it to quicktime. (Only700Kb and better quality than winamp! A great free converter is called TMpegEnc) Anyways, I originally tried to make it look like water but it came out looking a little too viscous, so now it kinda acts like some kind of clear syrup. I'm still happy with how it looks though, and I hope you are too! Tell me what you think! I'll keep working on this stuff and update whenever I find something worth telling. The animation and project files are below.. The Animation The Project EDIT:: just wanted to add that it took around 16 hours to render , sorry it isnt longer or better looking Edit once again:: Here are the animations of the wine in Quicktime for those who couldnt view it, unfortunately I deleted the originals so they dont look great now, but at least you get the idea. The Animation The Wireframe
  14. You guys always come up with great stuff! Keep us updated!
  15. Definately! The new animation that is rendering right now was actually hand animated, but I'm trying to work cloth into some other water scenes and I'll post as soon as I get it to look right
  16. Here is a screenshot from an animation I'm currently renderiing, its at about 49% and should be done in 9 hours
  17. By the way here is the site Maxwell go to the animations, there is one with liquid in a ball
  18. Here's something I made really quick after seeing one of the animations on the Maxwell website. The topic is in the OT section, you should check it out. Anyways, it made me want to try to mimic liquid with a:m, this is the best I could do but I'm still playing around with it, I'll post some other things later if I get something cool . All it is is a model of a wineglass with a seperate model for the wine with a seperate bone. The wine tilts with the glass because of the bone, but the surface of the liquid is cloth with gravity turned off and a force to give the surface ripples. Its nothing special but it looks cool, although I wish you could see the ripples better. Download the project if you want to see what I mean! Post if you make some liquidy stuff with a:m, maybe this topic can be used for thinking up ideas of how you can make good looking liquid in a:m. -Later Click for the Animation Also Click for the WireFrame Animation Click for the Project
  19. Awesome model, could you post a wireframe? Also I checked out you site, and I really like the layout of it. I'm checking out your work right now, great stuff!!
  20. Very good animation, and characters. I love the squirrel, is his mouth just made of decals? I agree about the sense of weight though, unless he has really strong abs I dont think it looks very realistic
  21. I thought there had to be a lot of splines to make a displacement work. It doesnt look like there is a enough to make those shapes? Awesome texture though, would make for some cool rock formations in a scene, kind looks like something from Myst or Riven.. Very Cool!
