  1. He has much more expression coming from his eyes now. That's good. It might also add to it if you use Rodney's suggestion for the pupils. His eyes are more squinty now, so the pupil size is probably good for most of the animation. But when he opens his eyes wider in that one pary, his pupils should shrink just a bit. Otherwise, I think it's coming along great. Oh, and I just thought of something. He's an animal. Animals, especially cats, express emotion through their ears. So, maybe at the end when he says "didn't think so", his ears could go a little flatter. For more on this, you could check out this short by Smudge. I think it's done really well.
  2. Yeah, JB's right. I think it'd look better if it were a bit shinier (that word looks so wierd... ). But, then, I dunno.... So, yeah. He actually looks pretty dang close.
  3. Yeah, he needs pants. Anyway, that's tight! I especially like the... uh... wrap... or whatever ya wanna call it. Can't wait to see more.
  4. LOL! You should shrink that vid, and make it your avatar.
  5. Also, if you have a section of animation that either loops, or is played later in the animation, you can just render it once, then copy it to another part of the vid.
  6. Where's the soundtrack to "BG11_small_.mov" from? Just wondering, sounds like a cool tune. I wanna hear the rest of it. *sniff* *ahem* Uhm, great job on animation. I especially like the emotion put into the ears. And I love the music. You are now my animation idol. Can't wait to see more of your work.
  7. Here's some advice: Teach a computer animation class, you obviously got major skillz. Great work! Just out of curiosity, what more are you wanting? An actual picture?
  8. I've had similar stuff happen with textures. I dunno. Anyway, Da' big (literally BIG ) "M" is lookin' awsome. Lovin' the pockets and dirty rag. (I don't even want to know where that's been. ) Can't wait for Lugi-Man.
  9. Grrrr... stupid thing double posted!!! (sorry)
  10. But... a person isn't copyrighted anyway. I mean, the person might have a problem with it, but I don't think there could be legal action taken. Unless it'd be infringing on their personal rights or something... Anyway, I can't remember if I've replied to this thread or not, but in case I haven't: Simply amazing work. I am truely asounded. Keep up the great work, and I will worship you until the day I die.
  11. I hear 'ya!... Well, good luck! Can't wait for the finished product!
  12. Oh, yeah, tottaly. Seriously, the first time I saw the first pic, I thought it was drawn. Then I realized it wasn't. Kik-arse dagger, BTW. Go Baron! So, wether I missed it, forgot it, or skiped it altogether, what is this going to be, anyway? Movie? Short? Somethin' else? Just curious, and lazy. (Actually I'm not lazy...well, yeah, I am... but I'm also working on a project, so I have an excuse. )
  13. I also am working on a buff super-hero character. Very intavestink... Anywho, as has already been mentioned, the underarms are a bit large. If you decide to leave him as he is, or even if you shrink his sides in a bit, his arms won't ever be able to lie flat against his side. Now, I'm not saying there is a problem with this. Just look at some of the really big body builders. In other words, I think his arms would probably rest at about a, oh, I dunno, 45º angle? 35º maybe? I only say this (just incase you might hapen to not think of it/forget/whatever) so that you don't try to give him the same range of motion as a normal person. Just like I don't think his arms would be able to go any higher then they currently are. But, I guess that doesn't nessisarily have any bearings on your question, does it...
  14. Yeah, most of 'em usually look like guys... LOL! While I do like the "gothic-ness" of the original model, your revision is much better. Truely stunning work. Can't wait to see more. (No! Not like that... )
  15. Can't wait! Very informative information as well. (heh, that was kind of redundant )
  16. I'm a peanut! Oh, anyway, I don't think I ever got around to saying how "Tottaly awsome Fey is!" I've seen a number of toon rendered things, but this is the first 3D model I've seen that actually looks drawn. I think it's the blue lines for the muscles and such... Anywho, keep up the good work. Amarillospider, where were you when I was looking for that stuff?? Ah, well. I guess that's the benifit of reading through other posts, eh?
  17. LOL! You do anything special to get that? Cuz I'm needing exactly that same effect for a project I'm doing.
  18. GJ so far. I'm just waiting for the badly costumed alien to exit and start abducting people. (Y'know, like old Sci-Fi movies with corny looking spaceships with legs)
  19. That is the first thing that came to mind when I saw that pic. I like Samarai Jack, so naturally I like your sword swinging seaman. It's nice to see something different from you. Uh, not that your other stuff was bad.... *ahem* so that didn't come out right. Heh, I wondered why you were going under the name of "Steve". Anyway, look forward to adventures of the swashbuckler.
  20. So, at what point did you sell your soul to the Devil to get those skilz?
  21. As messed up as that is, I think it rocks hard-core!!
  22. Possibly when you made the character in modeling mode, you may have ended up with a group that was copied over the pre-existing project. One set of mesh being boned and the other not. Try checking in the modeling mode for an extra copy of your character.
