John Bigboote Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 Hey- I hope I got it all right, as far as the rules and all. I'm not a web guru, but I went and got a 250Free.com website and plopped my entry in there. I was severely limited by the 2mb bandwidth per file maximum, so my movie is quite small. THANKS for the contest! About me and my entry. My name is Matt Campbell from Detroit Michigan, USA. I find TSM2 a perfect compliment to Hash's simplicity. My 'Rollin Stones' project is eventually for demo reel, as is my CrimeBomb characters. Matt Campbell Entry can be found at: http://mcampbell.250free.com Quote
Xtaz Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 Hi Matt : i love Rolling Stones ... nice animation ... good lucky ! Peace Xtaz Quote
Robert Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 Hi Matt, well done,I like it very much ! I would like it to see it a little bigger Much sucess for the contest! Quote
KenH Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 You didn't fix Micks hair!! Also, the guitar players hair is a bit thin looking. Otherwise, it's great and I'd recommend you send it to the band. They may even commission you to make a video with their new music! It'll save them having to get out of bed to make it. It looks like Micks T-Shirt is about to blow up. Now there's an idea.....animated T-Shirts! Hmmm..... I also want to see it bigger and rendered. PS If there's no copywrite problems, I think it would do well on MFlix. Quote
John Bigboote Posted November 26, 2004 Author Posted November 26, 2004 Yes, bigger and full res rendered and LONGER coming up. I hope to make about 1 minutes worth of this. I am rendering it (this :15) at full res over the long weekend. I 'slammed' this much out mon-tues-wed of this week. TSM2 is really the 'go to' tool for 'slam-bang' rigging a character. Other than that it was quite instrumental in all the timed keyframing to get the characters to 'play'. Mick was last, and has the least amount done at this point. I regret that the video is so small, in retrospect I should have done 15fps instead of full 30 fps in lieiu of more resolution. All the characters hair shows full on final settings. In did 'darken' Mick's hair abit at your request, Ken- maybe not enough. Quote
hypnomike Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 Great work! Can't wait to see the full version. Good luck with your entry! Quote
strohbehn Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 Hi Matt. I'm not a Stones fan, but I do really like your animation. Great caricatures ans style. It works well. Quote
Bill_Y Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 I couldn't watch this one. The link says the account with the video needs to be upgraded to be watched. Quote
KenH Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 I can get it all the time now, but I think in the beginning it was necessary to open it in a new window(press shift as you click on it). It's well worth seeing....if only for the music Quote
