Well, here's my two cents:

 

There's something weird about his arms. The guy's pencil body curves like rubber, but his arms have hard shoulders and elbows. Also, in proportion to his body they seem really thick--half the width of his body, basically.

 

Based on his floppy eyebrows and lips, I'd recommend going the same route with his arms. Make them more like rubber hoses, less like human arms.

 

You could go with the standard white cartoon gloves, or try pink ones, to match his eraser hair. That might look interesting.

Man.. you English people sure don't know how to speak English.....

 

About the Pencil guy.. he looks great.

I'm just starting out and had trouble modeling a bar of soap so I can't give any suggestions..

 

I agree with luckbat that the arms may be a little thick.. but what the heck do I know. :)

 

... and before anyone flames me.. the comment above about English was just a joke and yes, it was intended to sound ridiculous. (humor doesn't com across online sometimes, especially bad humor). ;)
