littleandy Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 Haha! Looks like some kind of missing evolutionary link. Imaginative design, I like it. Can't wait to see it texured and how you move it around. Nice job! -Andrew Quote
CreativeAustinYankee Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 Interesting critter, reminds me of the Street Sharks cartoon series. Have you considered adding a dorsal fin? I look forward to seeing more. Steve P. Quote
Sharky Posted May 19, 2004 Author Posted May 19, 2004 Hi Guys! First I thank your answers! I've uploaded the new version of my model! I made bigger pictures about my model. Please check it and write me your opinions! Thanks, Sharky Quote
modernhorse Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 Hey Sharky - Cool stuff. I really think you're onto somethin good here. He looks happy and like a Bill Murray type of voice would work with him. I think his fingers look a bit too square to my eyes. In the perspective view where his breasts come together at the neck area it looks a bit too sharp, like a V. Disregard if these are conscious choices or if you're pleased with him the way he is. I look forward to seeing him all textured. Doug Quote
Sharky Posted May 20, 2004 Author Posted May 20, 2004 Hi Modernhorse! Thanks your opinion! I repaered my model's finger, I made his finger cylindrical. Maybe I will make the smoother breast ! Thanks again, Sharky Quote
Sharky Posted May 23, 2004 Author Posted May 23, 2004 Hi Guys! I uploaded the textured version of my model! I want to use bump map on it, but I need a tutorial! Can anybody offer a good bump map tutorial? I'm waiting your opinions again! Thanks, Sharky Quote
MATrickz Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Thats really cool! I love it, good idea I cant wait to see it in an animation! Quote
Admin Rodney Posted May 23, 2004 Admin Posted May 23, 2004 Sharky, Sharky is looking mighty fine! The addition of color is really adding to his image greatly too! I can't help but think he'll animate and look better animated if he stood up straighter... He is a shark with legs though... so I'm sure he's just fine. For some reason the side view is my favorite... very interesting face he has there! He reminds me of a drawing (minicomic cover) that I did years ago about a Loan Shark mobster with a gun! Too much fun. Good Job! Quote
zacktaich Posted May 24, 2004 Posted May 24, 2004 His face is very expressive, I hope to see a tutorial! Zack Quote

Sharky Posted May 28, 2004 Author Posted May 28, 2004 Hi Mr. William Sutton! Do you offer a good rig for this character? I'm interesting in face rig in particular! Thanks before ,Sharky! Quote
zandoriastudios Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 I use the Hash2001 rig as described in the Art of Animation Master book that comes with the software. I use pose sliders for the face, maybe someone else can offer you suggestions... Quote

Ross Smith Posted May 29, 2004 Posted May 29, 2004 Sharky, I am working on the same problem myself. There are a few tutorials in the ARM ( www.lowrestv.com/arm ), sponsored by everyone's favorite Vernon Z. Quote
