pixelplucker
This looks pretty entertaining, is it just a video projection from above? https://www.thevrperformance.com/watch.php?vid=7e4a2fad2
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted June 12, 2018 Hash Fellow Share Posted June 12, 2018 I am skeptical. I don't see how the perspective could work for everyone around the table.
Fuchur
I probably does not, but because you are looking on your own dish there it would work quite nicely . I'd say: Well done.
largento
It looks like this company: skullmapping.com does the work. They have a vimeo channel with examples of their work. https://vimeo.com/user8910866/videos
John Bigboote
Right, as Gerald says- they make the POV right for each setting, look at someone else's and it will look pretty funny. Very cool gimmick! They probably do it before each course and jack-up the prices. The restaurant needs to be relatively dark, and 1 (or paired up 2 for additional brightness) projectors would be dead-overhead table-center projecting all 4 seats at once. There is most-likely a registration template for when the busser is setting the table of exactly where to place the plates and anything else that needs to be there. I love doing this kind of stuff, the depth effect is all in the shadows...
