itsjustme Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Do you have the AVX version installed or the non-AVX version? Have you checked to make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card installed? Are you using Windows 10 (sometimes things hang when Win10 is installing an update in the background...it never tells me when it's doing it either)? Have you tried "Help/Reset Settings"? Have you tried adjusting your "Tools/Options/OpenGL3" settings? A clean install of A:M is another option. I thought about Onion Skin being on, but that doesn't affect anything for me while in the modeling window, and you don't have Mirror Mode turned on....that's all I can think of to try. Quote
Maniac Posted December 13, 2016 Author Posted December 13, 2016 its still doing it."Help/Reset Settings"done Was fine last night.think i may need clean install of A.M again . no virus/all other programs working fine/video card drivers up to date GTX 770 works fine while playing Battlefield 1 I try later again Thank you Quote
Maniac Posted December 13, 2016 Author Posted December 13, 2016 well its not freezing any more but have look now strang Thank you Desktop 12.13.2016 - 09.21.08.01.mp4 Quote
CaptBobo Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Do you know what your subdivision level is set at? When viewing the shaded mode model, have you tried pressing 'Page Down' until you hear a chime? That will set the subdiv level to the minimum. See if that speeds up shaded mode. If it does, you can gradually press 'Page Up' to increase the subdivision level to a reasonable level. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 13, 2016 Hash Fellow Posted December 13, 2016 well its not freezing any more but have look now strang Thank you What part looks strange? That looks like a proper shaded wireframe render. BTW, I'll note that you can quickly switch between wireframe/shaded with the 8, 9 ,0 keys at the top of the keyboard (if you are not already typically doing that) Quote
itsjustme Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 The only thing I can see that might appear wrong is that I think you have "Show Back Facing Polys" turned off...I think that's why some of the patches around a couple of the character's eyes aren't showing up. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 13, 2016 Hash Fellow Posted December 13, 2016 I'll note that Rabbit and KeeKat have Poses that position their eyes. Their eyes will appear oddly in the model window where Poses are not in effect. Quote
