Might be but I don't do apple products. I find their stuff over priced and their operating systems too restrictive for what you're actually getting. But that's just me, not wanting to start anything Apple fans.

I'll note that for Windows there has been a program known as Plastic Animation Paper which you can now download free as the developers have moved on to something else.

 

It appears to have much the same functionality and appearance.
