Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted May 28, 2014 Hash Fellow Posted May 28, 2014 This is the oddest beginning-of-the-film studio logo I've seen today... It's at the very beginning of this movie... A440DsuM8iQ Quote
Admin Rodney Posted May 28, 2014 Admin Posted May 28, 2014 A product of another time fir sure. I actually enjoyed the movie. It had enough going on to hold me to the end and I was curious as to how it would turn out. Quote

NancyGormezano Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 That's a great channel - I love those really really old movies. Bring on the schmaltz! Fascinating to see how naive we humans were in terms of entertainment and social conventions, and yet haven't changed all that much in some areas. Film is a great recorder of history Quote
*A:M User* Roger Posted May 29, 2014 *A:M User* Posted May 29, 2014 The "globes" were amusing. I think I remember seeing a clip from "girl can't help it" with an erupting milk bottle when Jayne Mansfield walks by the milkman. You can't tell me THAT wasn't "code" for something Quote

Film is a great recorder of history yes and the people from that time would certainly be shocked how things changed. They had so much space and beautifull dresses and just alcohol as a drug. What would they think off our narrow ceilings and tatooed and pierced people in ragged clothes? Probably that we all gone poor and have become hobos. Well typicial thing of " it was all better in the old times" Jake Quote

Written and directed by Frank Tashlin, former Disney and WB animator and director! Quote
