That's a great channel - I love those really really old movies. Bring on the schmaltz! Fascinating to see how naive we humans were in terms of entertainment and social conventions, and yet haven't changed all that much in some areas.

The "globes" were amusing.

 

I think I remember seeing a clip from "girl can't help it" with an erupting milk bottle when Jayne Mansfield walks by the milkman.

You can't tell me THAT wasn't "code" for something ;)

yes and the people from that time would certainly be shocked how things changed.

They had so much space and beautifull dresses and just alcohol as a drug.

What would they think off our narrow ceilings and tatooed and pierced people in ragged clothes?

Probably that we all gone poor and have become hobos.

 

Well typicial thing of " it was all better in the old times"
