Here is an auction for the contents of what appears to have been a moderate-sized animation studio in Australia. I'm guessing they were doing 2D work and not 3D, but i'm not sure.

There's no shipping available, it's on-site pick-up only, but i found it interesting to scan through the list just to see what it took to run a bricks-and-mortar studio.

Racks and racks of computer hardware, a corral full of monitors, numerous wacom tablets... all going for not very much at all.

Well, who do we know in Australia...David Canberry? David Higgins? Let's see if one of them can cross the outback to go pick this stuff up and mail it to us! HP workstations with xeon graphics cards for $150?

Right?

Truly...I'd be tempted to pick it all up!

Sadly this was a 3D animation house too, they made Happy Feat 2.

Here's the announcement of its closing; http://www.animationmagazine.net/events/mi...d-closing-shop/
