Admin Rodney Posted July 20, 2011 Admin Posted July 20, 2011 I just recieved a note from Sherm Cohen that he'll be removing his Storyboard Q&A video to make room for his next online class. So go see it now or you may miss it. http://storyboardclass.com/q-and-a/ Note: I haven't purchased his DVD set (yet) but it's a great deal. Highly recommended. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted July 20, 2011 Hash Fellow Posted July 20, 2011 Thanks Rodney! I just happen to be reading a book on storyboarding at this time. Quote
Admin Rodney Posted August 27, 2011 Author Admin Posted August 27, 2011 Sherm Cohen has posted his latest video on Storyboarding: The Key to Powerful Storyboards The video runs right at an hour in length and explores the world of storyboarding through analyzing film (among other things). This is very useful compositional and cinematical information from someone who not only works in the biz but teaches many of the industry's artists and animators as well. I'm not sure how long he'll keep it online so... go check it out! Added: For those of you that have debated the pros and cons of attending art school Sherm has a pretty fun pitch at the very end of this video that talks about the price and what some others have said related to his videos. My recommendation: BEFORE you attend any of these expensive schools buy Sherm's Storyboarding videos. Disclaimer: I have not purchased them... yet. Quote
largento Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Thanks for the links, Rodney! I've enjoyed both of the videos. Only wish they'd stick around longer. :-) Most of the concepts I learned in college, but I like how Sherm demonstrates them and there are some new things I wasn't aware of. Really wish I could afford the set. Maybe if I start saving my pennies. :-) Quote
