Well, someone was wondering about doing a cape, and I thought "all" you really need to do is attach two corners of a square of cloth to a character's shoulders. Attach groups are part of that... HomeSlice
If that's all they need to do, you don't have to use Cloth Attach Groups. You just assign the "attached" CPs to one group and the rest of the cape to a "cloth" group.
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted November 4, 2010 Author Hash Fellow Share Posted November 4, 2010 If that's all they need to do, you don't have to use Cloth Attach Groups. You just assign the "attached" CPs to one group and the rest of the cape to a "cloth" group. That will work for the Flag scenario but it creates a rigid row of patches adjoining the attached edge. Attach groups ostensibly solves that problem. Still fiddling with it.
Gerry
I'm playing around with cloth today for my big dance number. Got to teach a flouncy skirt to rhumba!
Walter Baker
I was messing with cloth attached this morning, trying to do something I saw on 'iClone' web site, this is video on a moving cloth. started getting frustrated enough to pull my hair out but since I am bald I decided to stop and go back to it later. Stay tuned for more updates!!!!!!! Oh ya , love this stuff.
