i forgot what to do when you put a jpeg in a choreo. and it renders as really overexposed.

 

can anyone please help with this

Not normally. Something more is wrong. You may have to tell us more about what you're doing.

It sounds to me like you have some lights in your chor that are shining on your jpeg.

Either:

Move the lights farther away,

Rotate the lights so they are no longer shining on the jpeg

Lower the lights' Falloff" property

Or

Lower the lights' intensities

Just activate "Render Flat Shaded" in the options of the layer / rotoscope and it should be working...

 

I would guess, that there are some lights in your scene so.

You might check the ambience of the surface properties of your models. I know sometimes it gets turned way up when you use Undo too much.
