bentothemax Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Hey As you can see not quite done, but working on it... if anyone has a good place to get wood floor textures it would be much appreciated if you posted it C and C welcome, more to come this weekend. Ben Quote
ypoissant Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 WOW! This is beautifull. The only thing I'm seeing is the bump map on the tiles looks reversed. Apart from that, all look fine. Quote
NancyGormezano Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Wow is right - beautiful! Have you tried: http://www.cgtextures.com/ Quote
DanCBradbury Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 that's awesome! I always love the look unfiltered radiosity looks; gives it a really stylized look to walls and stuff. there's a few bright spots on some of the edges, but still very cool Quote
the_black_mage Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 yeah wonderful! if only the house wasn't floating in the stratosphere.... catch my drift....no pun intended... Quote
bentothemax Posted October 28, 2007 Author Posted October 28, 2007 Well ... I didn't change anything, but now when i render i get these results. Any idea what went wrong. If anyone who has a good understanding of radiosity would want to render it to see what you get, just post and ill email u the project. Thanks, Ben Quote
ypoissant Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 There is still radiosity in there but it looks like the ligt intensity have droped dramatically. Quote
thejobe Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 you have to recalculate everytime you open the project up doesnt look like its working with raidosity Quote
bentothemax Posted October 29, 2007 Author Posted October 29, 2007 I fixed it ... but i had to play around with a few settings IE the suns intensity is now 650 percent and the radiosity of the sphere around the scene is 125 percent and it is pretty much back to normal. Now will get back to modeling the rest Quote
Gerry Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Ben, are the walls and ceiling a material or did you paint in photoshop? Also, for textures in case you don't already have it, try http://www.mayang.com/textures/ Hope you get that radiosity working. Gerry Quote
bentothemax Posted November 2, 2007 Author Posted November 2, 2007 Material. It's a sine with very very slight change in color (also scaled very large so its almost not noticable) and a bump map and some roughness. Sorry i have not posted anything lately... my football team made playoffs for the first time in school history So we have been practicing really hard and long this week. Quote
