walk cycle

Recommended Posts

I made a very simple model, and created a walk cycle for it. Now when I put the model on a path, and try to increase the time is walks the path, the model completes one walk cycle and freezes, but glides through the path.

Any ideas anyone?

you may have "has stride length" OFF in your action properties.

or...

in your project workspace check that the redbar for the action is as long as you want the walk to be.

If not click it and drag the end out.

Nice find Andy!

I had completely forgot about that tutorial.

It was the precursor to the current videos on stride length and wheel cycles on the TaoA:M video page.

If you haven't seen those definitely check out the ones at the bottom of the page.

In particular:

Simple walk and wheel cycling actions

and

Path Ease (walk, then wave)
