Hi all,

This is my first post and I'm very new to AM so please forgive my dumb question.

I want to post my first model so I can get your input, but I can't figure out how to output a jpeg. I know I can output a single AVI frame, but then what? Is there a way to output a jpeg, gif or bitmap?

thanks,

risk

Risk, you can set your output to be a Targa file (TGA) format. From there you can open that file in an image editing application like PhotoShop, or any of the freeware/shareware equivalents and then export that as a jpg.

I think one of the free ones is GIMP

Just hit the browse button underneath where you write your posts and search your PC for the image you want to post.

If that option isn't there it might be that you have to wait a crertain amount of posts before you can uplaod an image.

EDIT: D'oh! I thought you meant to the boards here, duh. Maybe I should have read a little better. :)

Listen to pixlemech :).

..or if you have access to the most current CD (Sorcerez) you can render out to JPG. Version 12 has JPG export/conversion native. :)

Irfanview (www.irfanview.com) is the freeware PC utility I use to convert images.
