I like the way the whole fae squintches. I notice the artifact under the left eye, however, when it's in full sneer.

Is that a bad thing?, the toon line under the eye?

 

I think if you use toon, they are going to pop up where a hard enough line happens...

But I would imagine that in full animation, he'd be moving enough to keep it too busy to focus on that....

I think it would be nice to have the brows move and then the mouth follow a few frames later. That would make it less mechanically moved looking. Break up the movements a little... maybe have one brow move slower than the other. His eyes look like they could squint a little more.

 

Just some suggestions. It's good so far... just needs a little more character.

Looks really good- you gonna add some jaw action to it as well, you know teeth nashing...

 

I just wanted to use the word nashing, I admit it.

Well, unfortunately that action no longer exists as I'm creating and destroying all in rapid motion!

I'm still testing dboxes with face stuff.

 

But yes, teeth nashing should happen with any good snarl!!!!
